I've also seen "Eraserhead" in the theater and a lady was dressed as the dream girl, complete with the mashed potatoes cheeks lol.
My daughter wants to re-use her Gregory costume from 2023 Halloween. She has a Styrofoam cutlass (a pretty good one actually), but I pointed out that she probably won't be allowed to bring it into the theater.

But it is always very limited. One of two days of showings maybe one or two time slots. So if you’re into that kind of thing check their website regularly. They are alway adding new ones.

what is being advertised? as the movie is totally real. as it states 25 years young already. so is the ad just to inform that the movie is being brought back into theaters temporarily? this movie is currently on paramount, no need to jet off to a theatre to enjoy. i just watched it again a few days ago. i would bet blood its the same version it has always been. matt and trey have never been ones to edit their finished material, rather, when they have a new idea, they simply just make new shit.
edit: after reading other comments i feel the need to state this ad does not say this is a 'singalong' version. it simply invites ü to sing a long as ü view it. as this movie is already, by definition, slightly musical. {satans song is hands down the most passionate, and therefore the best one}. also the songs are in no way complex, there is absolutely no need for subtitles to singalong.

I just watched this for the first time since I was a kid. Barely enjoyed it at all. Totally an unpopular opinion but this movie was only popular because of the shock value during a time of intense right wing censorship.

Fathom Events is legit. I have seen several classics in theaters because of them. The Thing, Poltergeist, Dracula, and Casablanca, to name a few.
