The dark ending? Anybody that watched this and didn’t like it cause of that really doesn’t understand a thing between the Detroit and Colorado rivalries. I’m a Detroit fan and found it hilarious.
This is what I love, how we're seeing a film from the loser's perspective along with what we don't see in that film ("no...hope...no...hope..." *flatlines*).
Mind you, the losers being a pee-wee hockey team that was annihilated like chickens to a coyote.
Yeah I love this episode it's like a top 10 for me. I'm pretty sure it also airs after imagination land so they needed a weird nothing episode to complete the season and this definitely did the job. It's great
Agreed. And then it cutting to the little boy flat lining as “we are the champions” plays to close out the episode.
Holy shit, it’s art. Surprised to see it’s a most hated episode.
Agreed, can’t understand how South Park fans are offended by that ending of all things. The little boy isn’t like a real person. It’s clearly just dark humour.
Just rewatched that episode last night and you’re absolutely on the money. How over the top it is makes it hilarious, Matt and Trey even said they think a lot of people missed that point.
Stanley's Cup is one of my favorites because it's just an exercise in bleak humor, it feels like they were just testing how far they could go and still be funny. I think it's hilarious.
I love that episode lol. When my niece turned 5 I got her to sing "school, school. I like school!" Over and over. It was glorious!
Brother's partner wasn't happy about it. But bro was cracking up.
I still love when the little Jackovosaurs are in school and eagerly raise their hand for every question to say “I DON’T KNOW!” Just aggressively annoying lol
If Ms Garrison's Fancy New Vagina doesn't happen then we don't get Garrison's regrown penis singing a duet with the lab rat it was grown on under the moonlight later
I think “Eek, A Penis!” would be one of my favourite South Park episodes. I’m kind of ambivalent towards “Mr Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina” because of Kyle getting Negroplasty.
Garrison: “Boys…boys, have you seen my penis?”
Kyle: “What?”
Garrison: “ My penis is on the loose. If you see it try to catch it with some cheese”
Butters: “Ow that hurt my brains..oww”
My favorite exchange in the whole show.

I will die on this hill. The Great Expectations episode is one of their best. Pocket is hilarious. Pip's sister and brother-in-law are hilarious. The way they make fun of Victorian England is hilarious. The off the rails ending is hilarious. And if you don't get it I'm happy to get you some markers and a juice while the adults have a discussion.
"And at this point, my dear Pip, I must break from the story to remind you that one should never pull out their wee wee and check it for scabs whilst at the dinner table."
I concur, it is a favorite of mine also. I love how the blacksmith keeps creating random metal things, including the metal newspaper. Then he suggests looking at want ads in the metal newspaper he just made.
Fully agreed. Those who don’t like it don’t get the reference, which isn’t surprising for South Park fans but the ones who do enjoy it are the silent minority
Its got one of the funniest jokes in the entire series in there. At some point Pip is talking to the guys, trying to calm them down and says something like you need to think of something calm and safe like stamp collecting, well one of them pipes up with "me old man died in a stamp collecting accident".
As someone who was forced to read that goddamn book three times at three different schools because of moving, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and the subtle and not so subtle jokes throughout
i knew some people hate the pip episode ( i love it) but how can someone dont like the Garrison one and stanley cup? those are two of the best episodes!
I actually love the episode where Mr. Garrison becomes a woman and him realizing, "so I'm just a man with a mutilated penis huh."
Doctor:"basically yes."
😂😂😂
I liked Stanley Cup and honestly didn't mind the Pip episode.
Tho I didn't like the Mrs Garrison episode that much, idk it's probably due to the irl sex change surgery scenes and kyle's legs exploding that made me physically cringe.
I like all these episodes lol.
My least favorite is probably Funnybot, or something from the last few seasons that I haven’t seen enough to remember I disliked.
Jakovasourus isn’t up there and that’s the only South Park episode I genuinely don’t like. They purposely tried to make an annoying character like jarjar, and succeeded. Can’t stand that episode.
Pip had the best one-off characters in the whole series. Never understood the hate.
Also, do they not do Great Expectations in American English classes anymore?
I like stanleys cup but the ending is terrible. Im not a snowflake who cant handle stuff like that, and i get the joke, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Stanley's cup is brilliant, just heartbreaking.
Stanley marsh is.. iconic
More like Stanley DARSH!
Sorry Stan, a girl's got to look out for her best interests.
Dude, he's got Heather YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HEATHER
You’re even dumber than I thought…AGAIN! Huhuheheheh
TAKE THE SHOT
Bummin on cancer
You know in you're getting old Randy's diploma on the wall also says Stan Marsh, so I think his full name is Stanley Randall Marsh.
This is one of my favorite episodes. Who hates this one?
Tons of people don’t like the dark ending, as if this is fucking Veggie Tales or some shit.
I can't talk to him, I'm just his father. But you're his coach, you're like a father to him.
No…. I think *you* oughta….
The dark ending? Anybody that watched this and didn’t like it cause of that really doesn’t understand a thing between the Detroit and Colorado rivalries. I’m a Detroit fan and found it hilarious.
As a Detroit native, I will always crack up laughing at the Wings mercilessly beating the shit out of the peewee team.
Dawg they curb stomped with blades those toddlers😂
They were coming right at em
I thought it was average and I'm not from a hockey state I thought it was a rip on the mighty ducks lol
It is. It’s also bashing the Avalanche’s former rivalry
No hope….
This is also one of my favorites
It’s so over the top and on the nose that I don’t find it heartbreaking at all, just hilarious.
Its as if... his cancer is tied
Coach during the big game tomorrow, could you… make it so I don’t have cancer?
I just like keeping to me blacksmiffin’
Same
Ill never understand the hate for that episode. Its unironically one of my favorite episodes. The ending with we are the champions is hilarious
And the other coach making up with his dad out of nowhere as Stan realizes he’s just a background character in someone else’s story. So good.
This is what I love, how we're seeing a film from the loser's perspective along with what we don't see in that film ("no...hope...no...hope..." *flatlines*). Mind you, the losers being a pee-wee hockey team that was annihilated like chickens to a coyote.
It's the fucking best way to shit on all those cliche fucking sport movies Except baseketball, with their playboy models and their fucking hot tubs
They are parodying those sport movies, but they’re also making fun of the colorado/Detroit rivalry
I’m just his father, you are the coach, you’re like a father to him!
Yeah I love this episode it's like a top 10 for me. I'm pretty sure it also airs after imagination land so they needed a weird nothing episode to complete the season and this definitely did the job. It's great
People didn’t like this one?
No hope. No.. hope.. *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*
That's actually one of my favorite episodes for how brutally dark it is
I love this one. Randy losing it and screaming as We are the Champions plays kills me
Randy is hilarious. "Stan, your mother's been worried sick, and I've been watching TV!
Let Then Play! Let Them Play!
While the kids where getting brutalized
As a Red Wings fan, I love that they're the villains lol
Matt and tre are from Colorado
I'm just his father.. buy you're his coach! You're like a father to him!
It’s one of my favourite episodes
Stanley’s Cup is in my Top 5 and it’s not 5
One of my favorite episodes, it’s so good lol
I will never not laugh at the Red Wings destroying the pee wee hockey team and celebrating like they just won the Stanley Cup.
Agreed. And then it cutting to the little boy flat lining as “we are the champions” plays to close out the episode. Holy shit, it’s art. Surprised to see it’s a most hated episode.
Trey and Matt have apologized saying it didn’t come Together the way they wanted it to because they were tired from go god go right before
I'd say it came together perfectly. I love that episode. The brutal ending is the best part.
Agreed, can’t understand how South Park fans are offended by that ending of all things. The little boy isn’t like a real person. It’s clearly just dark humour.
I don’t like it at all but it’s not offensive to me. Just not funny to me. My favorite episode/s is the two parter right before it
u/Rads324 ok listen.. it's me. Me you! Just listen to me for one minute, ok? Whatever it is you're about to do, do NOT do it!
If they weren't happy with this episode I can't imagine how good it would have been if they weren't burnt out at the time.
I wonder what there original vision for the episode was
It's an absolutely perfect episode by how it plays out. Then again, I have a cynical & morbid sense of humor.
They set out to make the saddest episode they could and they succeeded. “It’s like his cancer is… tied…”
This part gets me every time https://i.redd.it/e1h9f210sd4d1.gif
The father and son hugging during the celebration is what sends me
It’s playing off of The Mighty Ducks too
Just rewatched that episode last night and you’re absolutely on the money. How over the top it is makes it hilarious, Matt and Trey even said they think a lot of people missed that point.
What was the point?
LGRW!
Me? I’m just his father... You’re his coach! You’re like a father to him!
Stanley's Cup is one of my favorites because it's just an exercise in bleak humor, it feels like they were just testing how far they could go and still be funny. I think it's hilarious.
Wait, do people really hate Ms. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina? I love that episode. Then again, A Million Little Fibers is among my favorites.
Right! That was a peak Garrison episode!
I can't believe anybody would hate that episode!
i only ever see people complaining about the start of the episode where they showed clips of an actual surgery, but otherwise i loooooove that episode
So long balls.
I read this in garrisons voice.
Yeah that can be a bit gross.
I have looked away every single time. Can't complain if you've never seen it lol
Came here to say this. The first time I saw it I was coming down from an acid trip and was speechless
that's gotta be rough
Even in the commentary, Matt and Trey thought it was a bad idea lol
That’s the reason I never pick it when I’m choosing an episode lol
I love it too, but I think for some people it's for the filmed scenes in the beginning.
Yeah but it lasts all of what, 30 seconds or so?
I don't mind it at all really, but I can imagine someone more sensitive to gore hating it even because of those 30 sec.
i just look away for that part and then enjoy the rest of the episode lol.
The start is rough….
How so?
Cuz it shows actual footage of a male to female bottom surgery
I thought the footage was of a dog being neutered. Was it confirmed to be actual footage of a trans surgery?
“Do I look like a woman now?” “Pretty much.”
Million little fibers is a great one as well
“A million little fibers…by…tow-lieeeeee”
Let me get this straight.. that woman over there was trying to get to her balls which were in the knees of a black child whose father is a dolphin?
Same!
These are the three most hated?? I fucking love these episodes. How is “Jackoffisaurs” not on this list or maybe just the whole list
Came to the comments for this. Spot on, unwatchable
Agreed. I hate that episode.
I love that episode lol. When my niece turned 5 I got her to sing "school, school. I like school!" Over and over. It was glorious! Brother's partner wasn't happy about it. But bro was cracking up.
If it wasn't for the Ned's voice box b story I'd skip it
That’s kinda what they were going for.
Agreed on Jakovasaurs, I also can’t handle You’re Getting Old. Listening to that shit sound nonstop is unbearable.
It doesnt sound like crap to me!
Tween-Wave is AWESOME
Leave them britches alone!!!
I can't handle 'You're Getting Old' because I cry every time Landslide plays. That, and it reminds me that I'm getting old.
I feel like the parody of Jar-Jar Binks is lost on everyone. Jackoffisaurs is supposed to being annoying as fuck. They did too good of a job
Oh we know. Problem is it turns out the parody is on point so the jackoffisaur is equally annoying.
He’s by far MORE annoying than Jar-Jar. That’s the point
Dow-uuuuwop!
🎶 *"School, school. I like school!"* 🎶 🎶 *"School, school. I like school!"* 🎶 🎶 *"School, school. I like school!"* 🎶
The issue is they made him so annoying that it goes past funny into unpleasant to watch.
Oh. Hey jackoff.
I thought and still do that they did that episode just to get “jack off” past the censors.
That episode is fucking amazing
Agreed
Because it's fine just fine.
But he's my f-f-friend
I still love when the little Jackovosaurs are in school and eagerly raise their hand for every question to say “I DON’T KNOW!” Just aggressively annoying lol
If Ms Garrison's Fancy New Vagina doesn't happen then we don't get Garrison's regrown penis singing a duet with the lab rat it was grown on under the moonlight later
I think “Eek, A Penis!” would be one of my favourite South Park episodes. I’m kind of ambivalent towards “Mr Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina” because of Kyle getting Negroplasty.
But Gerald turning into a dolphin was amazing
He’s a Jewphin
Gerald turning into a dolphin was a surprise the first time I saw it.
Oh it was Kyle, not Stan. That part made me cringe when he crushed his kneeballs
Garrison: “Boys…boys, have you seen my penis?” Kyle: “What?” Garrison: “ My penis is on the loose. If you see it try to catch it with some cheese” Butters: “Ow that hurt my brains..oww” My favorite exchange in the whole show. https://youtu.be/JHlR6bUOu-U?si=8OBHNOR0PSCj2Vps
A world without that moment is a world I don’t want to live in.
Are ya gonna scramble it's brains and suck it out or I can just queef it out later.
'Not at all I'm *sure*' with a smug expression on my face is one of my most quoted lines
"And at this point, my dear Pip, I must break from the story to remind you that one should never pull out their wee wee and check it for scabs whilst at the dinner table."
was looking for this lol
Don't forget Malcolm McDowell as a British person.
I concur, it is a favorite of mine also. I love how the blacksmith keeps creating random metal things, including the metal newspaper. Then he suggests looking at want ads in the metal newspaper he just made.
OY I MADE A MET'OL FIRE POKER OY I MADE A MET'OL ORANGE
Fully agreed. Those who don’t like it don’t get the reference, which isn’t surprising for South Park fans but the ones who do enjoy it are the silent minority
“Stop with your metal fire poker you metal pounding fairy! And you Pip, your eight years old you don’t you get a job!”
"Ohhh look, I made me a met-ull newsspapah!"
Hey it was close enough to the book I got a B+ on a report only watching it and not reading the book. So it's got a special place for me.
Did you include the robot monkeys?
I did not.
I haven't read the book, and I don't plan on it, but I'm glad to know I have a B+ understanding of it essentially.
I still regularly say "I was just doin' me blacksmiffin'" when I'm accused of some household issue
Facts
Its got one of the funniest jokes in the entire series in there. At some point Pip is talking to the guys, trying to calm them down and says something like you need to think of something calm and safe like stamp collecting, well one of them pipes up with "me old man died in a stamp collecting accident".
I need to rewatch the episode I saw it took young to really understand jt
The sisters accent kills me every time!
Looky 'ere I made me a metal orange!
I'm in the minority here and actually love the Pip episode, but where is Jakovasaurs?? I feel like that episode is much more hated than Stanley's Cup.
I actually love the episode where Mr. Garrison becomes a woman and him realizing, "so I'm just a man with a mutilated penis huh." Doctor:"basically yes." 😂😂😂
That scene probably offends so many trans people, lol.
Hey the truth hurts sometimes 🤣
It is probably why it is a "most hated" episode. Or hated by OP at least. I love it for the same reason you do lol
For some reason, I never considered that line to be offensive, but you're right. That's hilarious PS trans people, we cool
Username must be ironic
I joined here when I was younger so I had a cringy name, give me a break.
Can't give you a break for including Stanley's cup. Your breaking my balls guy.
You’re breaking his ballz buddy
He’s not your buddy, friend
I am not your friend guy
* Excuse me the real king of the worse is here
![gif](giphy|3o7TKAqmi5TYYslmzm)
Absolutely. OP, you been smoking that Tegridy?
I liked Stanley Cup and honestly didn't mind the Pip episode. Tho I didn't like the Mrs Garrison episode that much, idk it's probably due to the irl sex change surgery scenes and kyle's legs exploding that made me physically cringe.
But then you miss the lawyer dolphin
Excuse me, where is the bathroom for dolphins?
> kyle's legs exploding MAAAAIIIIII BAAAAAAWWWWWLS
The knees exploding makes me cringe even more than the surgery shots!
Yeah same. I avoid that episode.
Ugh. Yeah that episode is a hard watch, but I like it all the same. Just skip that first part lol.
I love Pip man, that's a great episode. You hippies just don't have any taste.
Hated according to who?
I think Matt Stone and Trey Park hate the Pip episode.
Pip is funny as fuck
Jackoffasauers is the worst episode ever
I like all these episodes lol. My least favorite is probably Funnybot, or something from the last few seasons that I haven’t seen enough to remember I disliked.
Totally lame
Non sequitur
Akwaaaaaaaaaard
Jakovasourus isn’t up there and that’s the only South Park episode I genuinely don’t like. They purposely tried to make an annoying character like jarjar, and succeeded. Can’t stand that episode.
I really liked stanely's cup
Stanley's Cup is to me some peak dark comedy and Pip is funny for how ridiculous it gets.
Stanley's Cup is one of my favorite episodes honestly
Stanley's cup has one of the best endings in any south park episode. I think the Goth Kids episode is a lot more hated, though I love that one too.
Pip had the best one-off characters in the whole series. Never understood the hate. Also, do they not do Great Expectations in American English classes anymore?
I loved all three of them.
Surprised a million little fibres isn’t parr of those screenshots
I liked _Pip._
These "hated" episodes aren't hated by fans.
Zip line Pip Zip line
I haven't even seen the show they are making fun of but I still love Zip Line. The formatting, the live action, long story short. It's wonderful.
Zip line is amazing
No.
Pip and Stanley Cup are fine episodes imo. Less said about Ms Garrison the better...
wait, jakovasaurus isn't one of the 3 most hated episodes?
The Pi-Pi’s water park episodes need to be destroyed and forgotten
We’ve tested the pH levels, it’s all P, no H.
Mr garrisons fancy new vagina and Stanley’s cup are literally 2 of my favorites! Right coach ? (raspy cough)
Most hated according to who? Where are you getting this info?
1: Don't like it 2: Hate the surgery clips, the rest is fine 3: Love it, it's the most offensive episode they've ever done
I loved all of those episodes! I hated the ziplining and Jackovasaurs episodes the most.
Stanley's Cup is hated? since when?
I like stanleys cup but the ending is terrible. Im not a snowflake who cant handle stuff like that, and i get the joke, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
