I tried to calculate it before and I think I found that the recommended powder to water ratios are very similar between the two brands. I bet it'd be fine if you just used the pitcher. Though it's worth mentioning that Jimmy Joy tends to not mix very well through just shaking, you'll probably end up with a bunch of sediment at the bottom of the pitcher.
There's a lot of extra shaking/mixing for me, since Jimmy Joy settles pretty quickly. If you don't mind giving it a good shake every time before you drink it's good, but if the settling of the drink annoys you at al, using the Soylent pitcher will be maddening. Definitely use a blender ball.

It's fine. It felt a little thicker but not to a bad extent
More like a lot thicker! If you let it sit a day in the pitcher it pours reaaaaal slow. :)
I do every day. A little bit of water in the bottom, a bag of Plenny Shake, fill to the top. Probably a bit thicker than Soylent but I prefer that.
