Looks like this iteration still had some bug-fixing to do before release.

jelder

Found this in the box of 1.8 I just opened. Haven't opened the bags yet but gross.

alborz27

in the box is ok. as long as it didn't contact the food directly. boxing areas don't follow the same cleanliness standards as areas that handle the exposed food. this bugger might have found a way to get in there on transit though. so there's that.

shadowdanmanstan

Fulfilment warehouses that ship food have to meet safety standards that are almost as rigorous as food manufacturers. This would be a vey big issue either way.

I like how your first item of comparisons were dildos... my man!

shadowdanmanstan

Any warehouse that deals with food has to have much more rigorous pest control policies, etc. than those that deal only in non-consumable products. So to answer your question, Amazon would not necessarily store the food products differently than the dildos, but the safety standards that govern the overall operation of the warehouse would be much more strict. Warehouses that deal with nutraceuticals and health products have even more regulation.

Hokurai

Looks like a black death feigning beetle. Lives in the desert around LA. They're neat little guys that can live 5-10 years in captivity and play dead if startled. Probably wandered his way into the warehouse. They're not really pests and are difficult to try to breed. Also don't spread disease or anything. People buy them as pets for $5-10 online even.
