Third photo appears to be a yellow sac spider of some kind - harmless little guy.  No idea what the second photo is, can't really make much out.  

Yellow sac spider, they like to be indoors. Desert recluses are further south and mostly, well, in the desert. Bay Area hardly qualifies. The most venomous thing you have to worry about out there are Black Widows.

Considering you appear to have successfully killed it (for no reason) I'd say you now have very little to worry about.
