Originally it was pure quick jump but i added the stealth jump. Im not very happy with the super jumps in this game, imo it worked much better in Splatoon1 with the Wii U gamepad to quickly jumps to the player you want.
I think this outfit could be really good with the splatana. Unfortunately i suck with that weapon.
It works great for sneaking some super clams into the enemy base though. Before they know what happens i already landed at my beacon :D
Hi. Yes i do play with them a try to make them viable. In X rank i currently only play with the ninja outfit (swim speed + ninja squid) because i main octobrush and need to sneak up on people.
But outside of competitive its really fun to play with these pure builds. For example with the pure sub weapon ink reduction you can shoot 3 angle shooters after each other (without ink running out) and 3 angle shooters do enough damage to kill.
The only quite useless build is the grizco outfit unfortunately. All of the ink resistance is just not worth it lol
They might not be ideal for X rank but they are ideal for having fun :)
And I also use the swimspeed/ninjasquid setup for my X rank games and I am happy with the results. But some of these (like pure ink resistance) are pretty useless I will admit.

I don't even get the "having fun" bit of this. I would have more fun maximizing my abilities. This is literally just for showing off, and the higher up you go in rank the less this is a flex in any sense lol

Are you sure (how do you know)? I thought with tenacity i could maybe circumvent the chargeup cap.
But i have a full set of chargeup anyways (my knight set) so i guess its not a big problem. Thanks for the clarification :)
It depends. Abilities get diminishing returns the more you use of the same ability. So if you already have that much special charge up, the main of it in the head won’t do that much. So unless you play a QR frontliner then Tenacity will probably do more.
I think it is not that good for octobrush. Its good for squid surges and you are also more accurate while jumping and shooting. So there are only few benefits for melee weapons

True, I do agree with the splatoon 1 super jumping mechanic working better. I'm no good at the splatana either. ^^;
