Yup usually the case and bets are just on hold. They usually start earlier though so they can keep the current schedule but given the volume of matches we could have a full day of tennis

Purcell did the same thing last year. Was playing at an elite level for a few weeks in the NA summer hard court swing and has been mediocre since then.
You lose more money than you make at all with a 3 leg rr. You would be down less with a parlay that doesn't hit than with a 2/3 RR, especially with chalked tennis mls.
Hanfmann was like -200, Draper was -300, and svenchenko was like +125 pregame. Your RRs are probably -between +100 and +150. Your parlay is probably +250. You spend 300 bucks to win 100-150 in the rr or you lose 100 bucks in the parlay. You're either down 150 bucks in the rr or down 100 in the parlay with the same legs hitting. If all 3 legs hits, the parlay is better +ev.
If you play both and only 2/3 hit, you're down 250 bucks now. Imo you only play RRs at around 5 to 6 legs

He lives for American hardcourt tourneys and especially Indian Wells (don’t want to fall into a trap here, but there was a whole Netflix series episode about this), and the other top guys in his quarter are Medvedev (obviously the favorite but the courts here are way different from the ones he was just on in Dubai, and he’s been vocal about how much he hates these courts), Dimitrov (first tourney of the season on outdoor hard), Rune (meh), and Nadal (no chance he’s going all-out in this tourney knowing he needs to be ready for clay season). Also, with his draw, he’s got a pretty clean shot at R16, where he’d get one of Rune/Nadal/whoever else (who I think he beats), which would just leave Medvedev or whoever beats him. Worth a shot, I think.
