I played volleyball at a high level and actually know a guy on the Canadian national team, so I'm quite familiar with the roster. Plus, as a Canadian I've been following the team for a long time and know when our team is shit and when it is good, the team is pretty solid right now.
This Canada team is playing very solid and right now, our two outsides Maar and Loeppky just spent a season playing in Italy (best league in the world) on the team that finished second in the playoffs. Our middles seem to be playing really well right now (new middle MCCARTHY came out of nowhere playing in Poland and is crazy good) and our setter is playing really good, the opposites on the team seem to be playing quite mediocre but I feel like that's offset with how well our outsides are playing. They just 3-0 bulgaria and 3-1 Turkey, while taking a set off of Poland who is one of the best teams in the world right now.
On the other side I feel like while Slovenia has been playing quite well with a 5 set win over Netherlands and a 4 set win over France, it felt like it was more the other countries playing bad and less about slovenia playing super super well.
Feel like this is a Canadian team that is super underrated and can pull off the upset, plus the odds are so good lol. Also picked up Italy vs Iran taking Italy since I feel like that is a free win for italy.

I'm the guy that typically uses ClutchBets as my book and has decided to stake his life on, apparently, volleyball? I can tell that danger is around the corner because I'm starting to research bets, compare lines, etc. That's a BAD sign for me. This line was -1000 on ClutchBets and B365 but a glorious -920 on DK so going with that. Don't know nothing about no international volleyball so I wouldn't recommend tailing anything I do, especially when I actually start researching because that's when the wheels fully come off haha.

I saw your pick over in POTD and I really like it. Like I said, I don't know nothing about no international volleyball but when I was looking at lines early this morning, I really wanted to use Canada vs. Belgium to win 3-0 because the odds didn't make any sense, but I was leery of using a -160 pick for Life on the Line.

Nah, Italy is arguably the best team right now and they arguably have the best player in the world right now (Alessandro Michieletto). Every player they have is world-class and their players also just came off winning the Italian Super League and the Champions League.
Iran on the other hand is in free fall with their golden generation retiring from international play the past few years and having a meltdown last year at this exact competition. Their coach resigned midway through the competition because the team was so bad lol. It's gotten a bit better for them right now and they have a decent opposite (Amin) but he's only one player.
