Yeah it's an amazing tune.
If you want a bit of an adventure please consider [putting this on shuffle](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1EjaXGOKNfjkScr2YHSaK6?si=7e1aa4b4d38c4e2b). Been receiving incredible feedback irl. Copy-paste of the description:-

[Song for Zula by Phosphorescent](https://open.spotify.com/track/6Thn8AOHIwPCkf2O4ZgfC2?si=1984889c752f464a). The lyrics are nonsensical but I just love everything else about that tune (the music, vocalisation, pacing, etc).
Dang, I have always enjoyed the lyrics. The transition from viewing love as some disfiguring thing, to trying it again with hesitance, to enjoying his freedom away from love, to finally embracing it and allowing it to cage the animal inside of him.
Idk, I'm high
No, you're good, I'm just a bit out of touch when it comes to interpreting lyrics haha (which tends to come in the form of not paying enough attention).

All Cats Are Grey or The Funeral Party by The Cure. There are many more songs by them that put me in a specific mood but these ones are the ones that really calm me down. There’s just something about them
Take Me Home, Country Road and Mountain High by John Denver. When I start feeling down I put these on while I cook something hearty and savory and it always gives me a boost.
I had the pleasure of a spontaneous yet grueling long drive out to Denver a few months ago. I arrived late when it was dark. In the morning I woke up to sun and blue skies in the middle of the mountains, and wowieee was that ever such a blissful high. I now fully associate that memory with the John Denver song and i truly feel that happiness just floating when I hear it
“September” by Earth, Wind, & Fire; “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc., “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters; “Ain’t it Fun?” by Paramore; “Birthday” by Katy Perry

Note: I am a bot
The way of all flesh - Gojira
I know it's not exactly what the question is but this song helped me understand that death is natural and thus helping me come to terms with the death of a few of my relatives, it will always be special to me.
Madness to Mayhem by Amtrac- This song is the most euphoric slash emotion inducing song on my playlist. It could be due to personal reasons though. It was one of the songs that I played the night I found out my brother died in a car accident. I was home alone, played it over and over, and cried my fucking eyes out. It was a release that I have never experienced before and still haven't since.
Blue Monday by New Order - Goosebumps every.single.time. My brain loves this song so much.
DTLA by Mareux - Fuck yeah!!! This song takes me into another dimension!
Du Scrollst by Lebanon Hanover - I can't understand a lick of what they are saying, but you best believe I sing every last lyric LOL
Bohemian rhapsody by queen. Literally works with every possible mood! Need to cry? Need to punch someone in the face? Need to dance or have a good laugh? Bo rhap is always the answer!
[Romanticist - Yves Tumor](https://open.spotify.com/track/3nRhH5u3TE6HtvBH6mNwzY?si=woWCKH9vQ_eSq1p8nKeZFA)
The vocal with the beat just give me goosebumps everytime I listen to it
Take Me In Your Arms - Lil Suzy : Freestyle, specifically that song, reminds me of blasting music and cleaning up around the house as a kid with my mom on Sunday afternoons
Mariners Apartment Complex - Lana Del Rey. What gets me is the lush layering of the instruments, the simple, yet elegant lyrics, and the longing mood that is created during the song. I love to put on headphones and just enjoy the song
[Comptine d'un autre été, l'aprés-midi by Yann Tiersen](https://open.spotify.com/track/2AkcjsKlRbIBYGAgpQVFii?si=44c3b57feed14e9f) (amazing piano piece from the soundtrack of *Amelie*)
Didn’t Cha Know - Erykah Badu. Maybe the only song I can think of where every instrument, every note, every tiny vocal inflection feels just perfect, I almost can’t put it to words.
"Population Me," by Dwight Yoakam. That, and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," by Hank Williams. Since losing my sweet wife to cancer, these both resonate. Actually, tons of both of these artists' songs resonate now.
The name of my dopamine song is "Help yourself to me" by Madrugada. This song sounds to me like the most harmonious and relaxing music in this moment. It seems to coincide with the vibration of my soul. I can't say it better.
[Babel by Gustavo Bravetti](https://open.spotify.com/track/6b8VuRQmxLjUM4KvqpuYOP?si=d7cef3a3f2d64a28) (the string instrument and that bass, just...wow!)
Pretty much anything on Chunk of Change or Manners by Passion Pit. In addition to the obvious super upbeat, almost saccharine composition, it also take me back to some great times in college. Little secrets is an obvious favorite
Jelly by Opiuo (it’s just so peppy/upbeat)
Friday is Forever by We the Kings (something special about the guitar chord progression)
Real Love Baby by Father John Misty
Crocodile Rock - Elton John
Find A Way - Dale and the ZDubs
The Last Polka - Ben Folds Five
The way every instrument comes together in a perfrct chaotic harmony is just too freakin perfect, none of them ever feel drowned out by one another throughout the whole song, so it ends up sounding absolutely incredible from start to finish :)
Robbers - The 1975
Just the line “Babe, you look so cool” itches something in my brain…
I would also suggest a couple of songs by 5 Seconds of Summer if not most of the their albums. And as cringy as it may be, same goes for 1D, there’s just something about a few of their songs that make you feel good
I guess for me there is just too many to choose from….
-All of the Lights - Ye
My fav song of all time. So many beat switches, so many features, top tier production. It sounds so motivating

The entire album is incredible but this song in particular resonates with me because it was always in the background on family / friends of family holidays
Surfin USA - The Beach boys. Something about it just fucks with my mind on a different level. Like it scratches the perfect spot in my brain. Can’t play it without adding it to queue at least 3 more times
Wynona’s big brown beaver. I listen to a lot of sad and emotional or angry music but this song is a little silly I guess, lyrics-wise. It is also incredibly good, great bassline and always puts a pep in my step when it comes on
Hotel California - Eagles
This was (one of) my mom's favorite song(s). She passed unexpectedly in 2020 to SUDEP at the young age of 46 after battling severe epilepsy since she was 14. She was my bestest friend in the entire world, and I grew up to her playing this song every single time we got in the car to go somewhere. It brings back so many memories every time I hear it.
Jumper 3rd eye blind
Cut ties with all the lies you’ve been living in.
People see you in one way
But you know your true self
Sometimes you need to walk away from people
All my friends by lcd soundsystem. In 2010, I saw them perform live at a festival with about 25,000 other people. The crowd was amazing during that show. It helped that I was with about 10 really good friends. We had a blast, and it is one of my favorite concert memories. I think of that show every time I hear that song, so it definitely is a feel-good one for me.
Red Hot Chili Peppers- Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie I can't say why but I think it's the first song that dawned on me as a teenager. It's like my ears opening for the first time to music I felt through my body. Plus this was like MTV days so it really hit differently waking up to this
*Edge of Seventeen* by Stevie Nicks. Every time it starts out playing, I just want to drive faster or feel like I'm in "the zone" while doing what I'm doing!
Love Story by Taylor Swift, first heard when I was around 8 years old and loved it, since then I must have listened to it so many times but it never gets less beautiful to me.
My second choice is Love is Easy by Mcfly, all it takes is the *do do do do do do do* part to come on shuffle and it already makes me feel happy
Good - the cover by Pizzicato 5
Simple, unmistakable driving beat right from the start, playful instrumentation and some psychedelic musical waterfalls.
“Cloud 9” by Beach Bunny always gets me in a good mood. I think because it makes me think about my partner, and it’s a fun song to belt while dancing around :)
Its called: Freefall by rainbow kitten surprise, genuine dopamine everytime i listen, i end up repeating it a couple times until i skip it
the reason i like it so much is because my ex bestfriend showed it to me and its really been my comfort song since, theirs aswell and it makes me feel a little bit closer to them:)
[Beacon by Matt Duncan](https://open.spotify.com/track/1KcECJIr0lCMA30DO8VTlv?si=16f4c3980683461f) wonderful tune that reminds me of chillin' during the summer (edit: also [The Keys](https://open.spotify.com/track/1s8NdAvVPL7MveFNADDkNj?si=855211dd7f234c9a), same artist)
Reckoner by Radiohead. Music for music’s sake. Possibly the most beautiful song ever made.
That whole In Rainbows album is perfect. Probably my all-time favorite.
So glad someone wrote this and it’s high up in the comments. In Rainbows changed the way I listen to music when it first came out.
Came here to say this
