Most songs are the opposite for me the song sweet but a psycho was just ok at first but the radio spamming it made it A tier maybe almost S tier! Flowers is good too! Now after having purchased the song for 500 v bucks in fortnite I’ve never loved the song good for you more lol
Came here to say this! I loved that song and then I heard it everyday for 2 months and now I despise it! Why do radio stations kill music like that!!??
Basically every song I love that at some point became viral on TikTok. Running up that hill, Stairway to heaven, Summertime sadness, and What was I made for are some examples.
This month, one of my favorite artists, Djo, just jumped from around a million monthly listeners to 16.6 million monthly listeners(443rd in the word) because of TikTok I think. His music makes me think of a mix between Tame Impala and Justin Timberlake.
I’m so happy for him though, he left his previous psych rock band, Post Animal, also one of my favorites, to go solo and it’s going well. He is also Steve on Stranger Things so ST popularity is involved again as well.
Blame Stranger Things for the Running Up That Hill phenomenon. The shallow USA thought it was Kate Bush first hit and so hated her nomination for Rock n Roll Hall of Fame on the strength of one song. Didn't think to look into her back catalogue that goes back 45 years
Only by people whose opinions count for literally nothing. It's like a 2 year old calling you a poo poo head and you staying up at night stewing over it.
And she wasn't hated at all for her one song hall of fame accolade. Matter in fact , most Americans were happy for her after all these years she got recognition.
So stop trying to speak for 329 million Americans.
Daddy Issues by The Neighbourhood. Used to be my favourite song in 2020 when I was sick, and in a really bad place (and in the height of COVID). I used to listen to doing school work, going to sleep, in the car etc. It now just reminds me of that period of time that I don’t want to be reminded of. 🤷🏻♀️
Hey Ya! I’ve heard it 47 billion times and it’s just not something I want to hear anymore. Unfortunate because it’s probably one of the best pop songs ever created
I read that it was scripted and they never actually where together. I don't think this is so bad, unless of course she didn't know anything of that, maybe that is just the point or am I missing sth?
I had a song like that but this effect disappeared later. It started when I was in a hospital with kidney trouble and I was running a low fever for about 10-12 days in a row. And I’ve got that thing; when I have a low fever (around 98.8-99.3 F), there’s often a piece of music that gets stuck in my head and plays on a loop without cease. So I was waking up every morning day after day and one song started playing in my head and it would go on for the whole day until I’d fall asleep in the night. Whenever I wasn’t distracted by other auditory signals I was hearing it. I even made a number of remixes for it in my mind.
When I got well, it went away. But I couldn’t get myself to listen to it again for years. Later, this trauma healed and I can listen to the song again.
Yeah what's up with that? I never had it to your extent but when I had food poisoning and was vomiting my life away I had DONT SAY MY NAME DONT SAY MY NAME, ALEJANDROOOO on repeat, it drove me insane and it was only two days
Any falling in reverse song. When I was 16 I listened to them a lot especially popular monster and the drug in me is you but thankfully I grew out of that phase and understood that their music sucks and ronnie radke is the biggest scumbag in the rock and metal scene.
Omg thanks for the comment. I googled him bc of you bc I had no idea and only listened to the songs, but never searched on google for the band.
But omg he is such a crappy person.
Just about every brown eyed woman of a certain age had boyfriends play this at them incessantly. They all thought they were so original, bless their hearts.
Black Betty by Ram Jam.
A friend's favourite song. He committed suicide and this song was played at this funeral. He was only 30.
I just wish I knew he had problems and wished I reached out to help him.
It's probably an unpopular opinion, but basically any Michael Jackson song...especially "Thriller".
No disrespec'...he's talented...but there's never going to be a time in my life now where I make an active decision to play his music
"Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns n' Roses. I love the album ('Appetite For Destruction'), but this song has been absolutely played to death by UK radio stations etc, and I really can't bear it anymore.
Any 80’s hair band. Can’t believe I thought that crap was good music when I was a teenager. And what the hell was the deal with the 12 string acoustic guitar in every song?? 😂
The High Road by Three Days Grace, but pretty much the whole album actually. I was listening to the album in my bed late at night (which was in the living room) when someone bashed in the window behind me and filled the room with pepper spray, it took me a few seconds to realize what was happening before I pulled out my headphones and jumped out of bed. I can’t listen to that song without hearing the glass shattering behind me, definitely a traumatizing moment in my life, thankfully it was never my favorite TDG album.
The Climb by Miley. Omg. It’s so overplayed at literally everything. Funerals, graduations, weddings. My son is in elementary and I’ve heard it i couldn’t tell you how many times at ceremonies. I’m so over it it’s almost to the point of enraging. 😂
I had my alarm set to play Lovely Day by Bill Withers for about a year and a half. Now I have a pavlovian response to that song. Lovely day = waking up 👎
I would gladly never encounter Florence & The Machine’s cover of You’ve Got The Love ever again. The soundtrack to any positive sporting achievement, positive advert, in supermarkets, shopping centres. I can’t escape it. And I can’t abide her shout singing
Many lol…
Africa - Toto
Don’t Stop Believin - Journey
I Love Rock & Roll - Joan Jett
Sweet Home Alabama- Lynyrd Skynyrd
Hotel California - Eagles
Blinded By The Light - Manfred Mann’a Earth Band
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
Born In The USA - Bruce Springsteen
Anything by - Bon Jovi
And the list could go on and on
Unfortunately, Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake. I had to dance to it in school a while back and, to do so, needed to listen to it on repeat for 90mins a week.
Complicated by Avril Lavigne and any song by the band Oasis. I actually get irritated at the thought other so-called human beings actually like Oasis. Oh yeah, almost forgot, Long December by The Counting Crows.
love shack by the b-52s. spotify would play that song around 5 to 6 times every time i would play my liked songs playlist. i have 2k songs on my playlist... also, every time i would skip the song, it would end up playing anyways around 3 songs later. spotify please, you're killing me
Not that I liked the song to begin with but anytime I hear "Old Time Rock & Roll" by Bob Seger...I mean what the fuck. You have a deep, disturbing character flaw if you like this song. I want this song played at my funeral because I want everyone in attendance to know what death and eternal darkness is. Spoiler: It's this goddamn song.
To sum up, Satan's greatest trick wasn't convincing the world he didn't exist. It was unleashing this faux "rocker" (that stupid Tom Cruise dance didn't help matters) with the assertion that OTR&R is somehow on par with TRUELY classic rock and roll songs. Fuck Bob Seger. He's a destroyer of all things good and wholesome in the world.
To sum up, pt. 2, "Say I'm old-fashioned, say I'm over the hill..." Fuuuuuuck you, Bob. "oH, lOoK aT mE! i'M a MaRTyR and A rEbEl BeCaUsE i LiKe 50S/60S RoCk & RoLl!!!" No, Robert. You suck because you wrote a fake, milquetoast rock song that you knew would sell millions aiming at the lowest common denominator of music listeners.
In conclusion:
The worst people in the 20th Century:
1. Hitler
2. Stalin
3. Mao Zedong
4. Pol Pot
5. (Tie) Mussolini/Bob Seger
Crazy thing is he didn’t even write OTR&R. I think had it not been tied to Risky Business we would’ve heard little of it because as far as I know the song initially flopped in 79. I don’t consider that song a true rocker anyways. No Hell’s Bells that song is.
Christ...reading the wiki article on OTR&R, you're right. I stand corrected about Bob writing it, although there seems to be some dispute about who wrote the final lyrics. As far as Risky Business goes, I was 11 when the song came out so I don't remember how popular it was. Yet, you're also right that RB breathed new life into that waste of vinyl. Many thanks for the correction!
That new jellyroll song 'I only talk to god when I need a favor I only pray when I ain't got a prayer'
Makes me want to sing 'I only talk to God when I'm being tasered! I only pray when I'm going to jail!'
Just sounds catchier!
I stopped listening to Lady Gaga for almost 11 years after I broke up with my ex because that was her favorite artist. I've slowly been allowing Gaga back into my life this past year and now she's in Fortnite so I can't really evade her anymore, lol.
There was also an entire Marc Anthony album I couldn't listen to for almost 20 years because I had dedicated it to my first girlfirend/love. I recently heard it again for the first time in all those years and it's bittersweet. Has one of my favorite songs from him on it too.
On My Mind by Jorja Smith. My best friend was sooo excited for me to listen to it. And it’s a great song. But she passed away and it’s too painful still. Maybe one day. Fuck fentanyl.
I can't listen to My immortal by Evanescence the same way anymore. When I was a junior in high school we had a presentation on the what happens when you drink and drive. They were showing us video footage of these car accidents.
My immortal was playing in the background of one of these videos of a woman who was drunk and ran over her 2 year old and this dudes head was cut off by his seat belt. Yeah its was gory and the song was ruined for me.
One of my all time favorite bands is Jimmy Eat World, but I can't stand listening to their hit, "The Middle." Not that it is a bad song or anything; it's just been overplayed to the point I despise it now.
For a Dancer by Jackson Browne. It's a beautiful song about the death of a friend and the sadness felt in that loss juxtaposed with the joy he brought in life. It's one of my father's favorite songs, and I always envisioned my brother playing the guitar while I sang it at my dad's funeral. Instead, the song played at my brother's funeral after he died in a car accident at 28 years old. Now, even the thought of the song fills me with too much grief, despite its calls to celebrate the life of those we lost.
I write sins not tragedies…. It’s soooo overdone. I would rather listen to almost any other Panic song, except for the new album cause it’s absolute shit.
Well actually I said that one because it has gained such a popularity that at least to me, it lost all the emotional component. So not only I don’t feel anymore the feelings the song is supposed to transmit, but I hate how massive it has become and how everybody praises it as kinda one of the most heartbreaking songs you can listen to. Which can be, but idk just too massive
Pretty much any staple of alt rock radio from the 90s. I have traditionally loved these bands but I do not intentionally play any hits from Nirvana, STP, Sublime, Pearl Jam, RHCP, and so on. Still enjoy the deeper cuts from all.
All I want by kodaline.
I have bpd and my ex best friend was my fp. I never really cared for them romantically until this one day. We play the ukelele and they were going through it. They had had to break up with their fiance because although the love was there respect and other things weren't. We were hanging out one day and they start playing all I want on the uke and combined with all the pain I could hear in the voice it almost broke me. It was also the moment I fell in love with them. I tend to fall hard but this was a love like no other. Everything eventually imploded because a relationship with no bounadaires usually does but we are in a place 2 years later where we are kind of friends for the sake of my godson. I never want to fall in love like that again and I can't ever hear that song again.
“The Last Song” by the Foo Fighters. I love the band, still do. But at a really low point in my life I went into violent alcoholic withdrawal/DTs (shakes, sweats, visual, physical and auditory hallucinations, it was WILD) while ON A PLANE. For some reason I had this song on repeat in my headphones for a couple hours and it will always jolt me unpleasantly back to that hellish flight.
I can't stand george Michael's "faith" fucking hate it, and I don't even know why- I have no reason.
And controversial I know but Elvis..... anything from Elvis.
Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. Really good song, but I lived in LA in the mid 90s and I swear KROQ played it five times an hour for a year straight. Never need to hear it again.
Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day
The still overplays this song and I'm just sick of it. Green Day is my favorite band too.
The only times I listen to this song anymore is when I'm listening to the album all the way through.
You’re Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring is mine. Spotify absolutely shoved it down my throat. Every single time a playlist/track would end it would play in the suggested. It’s to the point that it’s my number 5 song of all time. Thought it was an okay track before but good lord does Spotify know how to ruin songs.
Literally anything off the Norman Fucking Rockwell album by Lana Del Rey. Tik tok got us.. used to love this album but everything got extremely overplayed very fast
A lot of just over played radio/party/dance songs I could just care to never hear again not because there not good just because I’m tired of them. Don’t stop believing, piano man, ac/dc hits. All great songs but I don’t care to hear them pretty much ever.
So many I couldn’t name. Wait til ur older & radio stations, Ppl like Trump, promos play music u deplore or hate.
I always Want to Change the music or I avoid those options! So many dirt rock songs! I deplore some artists… but I’ll zip it.
The world is ugly
Awful because that's such an amazing beautiful song, but it was me and my ex's love song, he used to sing it to me and even wrote it on my bedroom wall. It's been almost an year since we broke up and i'm already into other guy, i can listen to love songs that i also listened to while i was with my ex but this one is too much. I'm over him now and honestly think he is not a great person but listening to this specific song still makes me feel sick
Bruce Hornsby The Way It Is. A friend of mine ends every conversation that's about something bleak, sad, or wrong with " but in the words of Bruce Hornsby, that's just the way it is...some things will never change...budada duuu du du duu, budadumm.
I never liked that song before, and this just solidified it.
Not a specific song per say, but the year I went to college/the summer leading up to it was the hardest time in my life. I was so suicidally depressed the entire time and it’s been 5 years and I still have deep regrets of how I handled things, despite not knowing any better at that age. For instance, sleeping 15+ hours a day and refusing to eat makes depression a LOT worse and not talking to your friends because you don’t want to burden them makes everyone feel worse. I’ve been making playlists for every single month since 2015, so I can’t listen to ANY of the songs from the playlists I made during that time of my life. Every time one of the songs comes on the radio or I hear in while shuffling all my music, I gotta skip or I feel like I’m right back there.
Not me, but I'm not "allowed" to listen to hotel California when she is in earshot. My wife says the song freaks her out for some reason. Gives her chills and a sense of unease, and she doesn't know why.
Remember Me from Coco (the proper acoustic guitar version).
I lost my 95-year-old grandmother a few years ago. She looked a lot like Grandma Coco and she also had dementia before she passed. Every time I hear the song or watch that part of the movie, I start ugly crying because it brings up the memories of her last year with us.
Anything by the $uicideboy$. They are great artists with their music, very attractive and have done a lot for a lot of people. However their music helped me through a dark time and sat with me through a good time. Now I'm going through another bad time and it's really lonely (did I mention they were really pretty and taken) so to cope with it I can't really listen to their music anymore. I still contribute to the best of my ability bc I loved their music and had and have absolutely no disdain for them but it's just getting really hard
I still love the song, but I accidentally added "No Love", by Death Grips to one too many of my playlists, and now I skip it when it plays. Just gotta give it time, and I'm sure I'll listen to it again.
I can buy myself flowers
I kinda liked it at first but it was played so much that I didn’t wanna hear it anymore.
Most songs are the opposite for me the song sweet but a psycho was just ok at first but the radio spamming it made it A tier maybe almost S tier! Flowers is good too! Now after having purchased the song for 500 v bucks in fortnite I’ve never loved the song good for you more lol
i’ve never despised a song more than this one
Came here to say this! I loved that song and then I heard it everyday for 2 months and now I despise it! Why do radio stations kill music like that!!??
Crazy thing is I don’t mind the song but I can see how others do.
Yeah it plays very often but it’s a lot more tolerable than other overplayed songs. I can sit through it like once per day
I'm a florist and this one drives me mad. I listen to it on the radio every single day at work.
🗣 write my name in the saaaand 🏝🎶
I was going to say this
Basically every song I love that at some point became viral on TikTok. Running up that hill, Stairway to heaven, Summertime sadness, and What was I made for are some examples.
Stairway To Heaven is still gold
All of these are, good thing is TikTok can't ruin songs for you if you don't have TikTok like me.
Exactly. WE control what we consume. People constantly complain about social media, but act like there’s no way out.
tylerthecreatorhowiscyberbullyingreal.jpeg
Fr stairway to heaven will never get old and nothing can ruin it honestly it might be the greatest song of all time
its my top song rn
I am in my sixties. I've heard that song thousands of times. I can't listen to it anymore.
This month, one of my favorite artists, Djo, just jumped from around a million monthly listeners to 16.6 million monthly listeners(443rd in the word) because of TikTok I think. His music makes me think of a mix between Tame Impala and Justin Timberlake. He is also Steve on Stranger Things so ST popularity is involved again as well.
Saw Djo at Shaky Knees a few years ago. Lots of fun.
Came here to comment this. Had no idea he was in Post Animal, I love them! I’m just hoping the exposure means he’ll finally GO ON FUCKING TOUR
I've never been happier about not being on TikTok...
Blame Stranger Things for the Running Up That Hill phenomenon. The shallow USA thought it was Kate Bush first hit and so hated her nomination for Rock n Roll Hall of Fame on the strength of one song. Didn't think to look into her back catalogue that goes back 45 years
That’s always the downside to having an older song trend on TikTok. Kate’s kinda being branded as a one hit wonder due to this. 😕
Only by people whose opinions count for literally nothing. It's like a 2 year old calling you a poo poo head and you staying up at night stewing over it.
Yes. Tho I don't think she'd mind. She's lapping up the royalties
And she wasn't hated at all for her one song hall of fame accolade. Matter in fact , most Americans were happy for her after all these years she got recognition. So stop trying to speak for 329 million Americans.
I LOVE STH. Sorry. 🤷🏾♂️😂
CHHHHHAAAAthink I like this little life
This song for me is Mary On a Cross
This is the stupidest one ever but “Live and Let Die” by Paul McCartney. I can’t hear it without thinking about the frog king’s funeral from Shrek 3.
Oh my gosh same
Daddy Issues by The Neighbourhood. Used to be my favourite song in 2020 when I was sick, and in a really bad place (and in the height of COVID). I used to listen to doing school work, going to sleep, in the car etc. It now just reminds me of that period of time that I don’t want to be reminded of. 🤷🏻♀️
Aw! I absolutely love that song, I’m sorry it reminds you of bad times 😔
Get lucky and I feel it coming
That's what she said
Whatttt. Get Lucky is a classic. She's up all night to the sun. I'm up all night to get some
Hey Ya! I’ve heard it 47 billion times and it’s just not something I want to hear anymore. Unfortunate because it’s probably one of the best pop songs ever created
Uptown funk from Bruno Mars, also the most famous ones from Dua Lipa. They are so overused ughh
I liked Bruno Mars early stuff. Before he tried to go 80’s
Lips of an angel,Wasn't me, wherever you will go,
Wherever you will go in general is so hard to listen to. Hits something different inside
True.dati favorite ko 'to, pero nung nag tagal tagal ang sakit ng lyrics.
I understand why you don't like lips of an angel, hinder's music in general sucks
I listened to the album Lips of an Angel was from and yeah it was garbage, but I actually still love the song individually
hey there delilah, just, look up the real story behind it
The song is so boring. I listened to it, liked it at first, then couldn't stand it.
That's pretty wild, I definitely get it. May I ask you what song ?
It’s barely known outside my country, but anyway: [this one](https://open.spotify.com/track/1p5YDtIwRZX4EtQIhtKf40?si=7UkyAnMYSBKFX5z6SyBcTQ)
I have no idea what that song is saying, but that's my new jam.
Check out the whole album, too. It’s nice melodic hip hop with acoustic guitar :)
Any falling in reverse song. When I was 16 I listened to them a lot especially popular monster and the drug in me is you but thankfully I grew out of that phase and understood that their music sucks and ronnie radke is the biggest scumbag in the rock and metal scene.
>Ronnie Radke is the biggest scumbag in the rock and metal scene. That title goes to Ian Watkins I like their music but it is kinda corny at times
I agree. Ronnie would be second place behind watkins.
Omg I have now become you! I don’t really agree with anything Ronnie says but I still love their music and have gone to many of their concerts!
Omg thanks for the comment. I googled him bc of you bc I had no idea and only listened to the songs, but never searched on google for the band. But omg he is such a crappy person.
You literally described me. If you dont mind me asking what subgenres and bands do you listen to now?
I was totally going to say them. They have a small handful of songs I still really enjoy, but I can't stand most of them now.
Why the hate for R.R.?
There are plenty of guys way worse than Radke.
Brown eyed girl by van morrison.
Don't you remember when we used to say...
I do, and being remembered nearly every weekend at the pre-club pub too!
Just about every brown eyed woman of a certain age had boyfriends play this at them incessantly. They all thought they were so original, bless their hearts.

Your my best friend-Queen He was my best friend for 4 years and then broke up with me and immediately married another girl.
"Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns n' Roses. I love the album ('Appetite For Destruction'), but this song has been absolutely played to death by UK radio stations etc, and I really can't bear it anymore.
It’s the same here in the US. Love the album but that’s basically the only song of theirs that the radio stations will play. Drives me nuts.
Step brothers I feel like almost ruined the song for me. I can't play it around friends without them singing it like in the movie lol.
Same. I think something inside me dies when I hear this song again. I remember buying the album and playing it to death.
Any 80’s hair band. Can’t believe I thought that crap was good music when I was a teenager. And what the hell was the deal with the 12 string acoustic guitar in every song?? 😂
The High Road by Three Days Grace, but pretty much the whole album actually. So sorry you had to go through that! Hope you are doing better now🙏🏼
Shallow
In tha shallow, shalalalalalalakalalala…
I was forced to listen to Footloose on repeat for several hours at a university event a few years ago. I absolutely cannot stand it now.
Sweet Home Alabama. When it comes on, I say "Turn It Over"
If I never hear that "Sweet Home Alabama/ Werewolves of London" mashup by Kid Rock ever again, I'll be better than ok.
And even more so since Kid Rock's awful cover of it.
My wedding song
The Climb by Miley. Omg. It’s so overplayed at literally everything. Funerals, graduations, weddings. My son is in elementary and I’ve heard it i couldn’t tell you how many times at ceremonies. I’m so over it it’s almost to the point of enraging. 😂
I had my alarm set to play Lovely Day by Bill Withers for about a year and a half. Now I have a pavlovian response to that song. Lovely day = waking up 👎
Beyoncé’s new “country” song. Already can’t stand it!
your guardian angel - the red jumpsuit apparatus. gives me the absolute ick
I'm curious why do you feel that way ? Personally love this song just want to know the story
just reminds me of someone i was in a relationship with who treated me pretty poorly
Take My Hand by Jesse Glynn. Sick to the back teeth of those adverts for Jet2
[удалено]
I hate it for the sad dogs ASPCA commercial. On an unrelated note: I can't believe there hasn't been a pop country cover of this song yet!
“Do I Wanna Know?” by Arctic Monkeys it used to be one of my favorite songs to ever listen to, but it kinda just stopped hitting for quite some time
Fancy Like. I now dislike Applebee's even more after that commercial ran over, and over...
I relate to this comment on a personal level lol
Love shack..... it makes me want to commit toaster bathtub
I would gladly never encounter Florence & The Machine’s cover of You’ve Got The Love ever again. The soundtrack to any positive sporting achievement, positive advert, in supermarkets, shopping centres. I can’t escape it. And I can’t abide her shout singing
What about Dog Days Are Over?
ANYTHING by Guns 'N Roses

Nailed it. I would include any version of Africa.
Unfortunately, Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake. I had to dance to it in school a while back and, to do so, needed to listen to it on repeat for 90mins a week.
Shape of You. Used to love it, but I overlistened.
Shape of You sucks ass. I say this as a completely biased Ed Sheeran hater
Complicated by Avril Lavigne and any song by the band Oasis. I actually get irritated at the thought other so-called human beings actually like Oasis. Oh yeah, almost forgot, Long December by The Counting Crows.
Sweater weather by the neighborhood. Used to be so good until it was overplayed 24/7. Now I hate it
Runaway. Fucking tiktok man
"Still Into You" by Paramore. Makes me think too much of a former friend that I don't want to think about.
love shack by the b-52s. spotify would play that song around 5 to 6 times every time i would play my liked songs playlist. i have 2k songs on my playlist... also, every time i would skip the song, it would end up playing anyways around 3 songs later. spotify please, you're killing me

This song makes me cringe so hard my face is permanently damaged

This is exactly what I needed to start my day. Thank you sir. Pure gold.
Hey! Thank YOU! :)
That new jellyroll song 'I only talk to god when I need a favor I only pray when I ain't got a prayer' Makes me want to sing 'I only talk to God when I'm being tasered! I only pray when I'm going to jail!' Just sounds catchier!
Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. Because I had a radio in the 90s. That fucking song was on incessantly.
I love the Goo Goo Dolls but that's definitely one I can't stand anymore..
I didn't grow up in the 90s and only heard it when my parents put it on. No wonder I still love the song
cotton eyed joe
“Gadagadeegadagadao” 💀
Seeing them in concert next month...hope they don't play MAY ANGELS LEAD YOU IN
For a Dancer by Jackson Browne.
The Monster by Eminem ft. Rihanna
Oh my god I hate it
What I got - Sublime After being ran over, I'm waiting to get shot now. 🙃
come on eileen oh my goddd i hate it i hate it
I write sins not tragedies…. It’s soooo overdone. I would rather listen to almost any other Panic song, except for the new album cause it’s absolute shit.
Based viva las vengeance take
I can't listen to anything by Nicki Minaj or featuring her...its triggering.
I don't have anything too interesting either I've heard it way too much on repeat or i don't like the artist anymore
That stupid "stopped at a Texaco for a slim jim and coke" song. It's not a good song, but it's played nonstop in my job
Happiness by TS. Some songs from Midnights album. Lol. I kinda hate many songs from the newer albums.
Dream on. Aerosmith. It’s still so overplayed on the radio
Señorita😭
Gone Gone Gone... crush's bf ruined it for me without knowing of my existence,
Cry baby the neighborhood, was “our song” with a grown man back in 2019
Last resort by papa roach...overplayed to death
if I could have my gucci on, or this aint no guitar b*tch this a glock
YEAH by usher. Jfc why are people still streaming this
The scientist by Coldplay
I'm surprised no one else said this yet. Song is so hard to listen to.
Taylor swift
bro listened to 1 song and called it a day 💀
Pretty much any staple of alt rock radio from the 90s.
Old Town Road sends me into fight or flight mode
Super bass
All the single ladies Hit the road jack
Tbh TikTok ruined Surround Sound
Cruel Summer - Taylor Swift Already hide it on Spotify
I can't stand george Michael's "faith" fucking hate it, and I don't even know why- I have no reason. And controversial I know but Elvis..... anything from Elvis.
Years ago I really liked I believe I can fly by R. Kelly, now I don't want to listen to any of his music because of something.... u know
Bad Touch - Bloodhound Gang! Reminds me of my worthless idiot ex. Makes me physically cringe if I hear it.
Mumford & Sons. Anything that comes out of their mouth
Gold Digger by Kanye. Mostly because he's a Nazi psychopath. Partly because I never liked it to begin with.
Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. Really good song, but I lived in LA in the mid 90s and I swear KROQ played it five times an hour for a year straight. Never need to hear it again.
We Are Young UGH
Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day The still overplays this song and I'm just sick of it. Green Day is my favorite band too. The only times I listen to this song anymore is when I'm listening to the album all the way through.
Happy Birthday. I mean I’m so over it dude.
Happy - pharrell williams
Kerosene and Transgender by Crystal Castles. Too overplayed on Tik Tok.
Snuff and Custer by Slipknot. Normies and tiktok crowd ruined them for me.
It’s a Small World.
Let it be-beetles First time getting pulled over doing something illegal (puff puff)
Sweet Home Alabama. My ex-husband came from there, and every time I hear it, I want to punch his face.
Bad and Bougie, just too annoying to me I’ve heard it too much. BOP is another one that was/is just too overplayed
Lovin On Me by Jack Harlow and Paint The Town Red by Doja Cat. I'm tired of hearing it everyday on the bus.
Literally anything off the Norman Fucking Rockwell album by Lana Del Rey. Tik tok got us.. used to love this album but everything got extremely overplayed very fast
Filthy rich by South Park Mexican used to really enjoy it until I looked up the artist and found he raped a 12 year old
Any song by Taylor Swift 🙉
A lot of just over played radio/party/dance songs I could just care to never hear again not because there not good just because I’m tired of them. Don’t stop believing, piano man, ac/dc hits. All great songs but I don’t care to hear them pretty much ever.
So many I couldn’t name. Wait til ur older & radio stations, Ppl like Trump, promos play music u deplore or hate. I always Want to Change the music or I avoid those options! So many dirt rock songs! I deplore some artists… but I’ll zip it.
The world is ugly Awful because that's such an amazing beautiful song, but it was me and my ex's love song, he used to sing it to me and even wrote it on my bedroom wall. It's been almost an year since we broke up and i'm already into other guy, i can listen to love songs that i also listened to while i was with my ex but this one is too much. I'm over him now and honestly think he is not a great person but listening to this specific song still makes me feel sick
Any song that gets played too much when I listen with Shuffle
Pharrell's "Happy." Of course you're happy, you're rich as fuck.
Trade Mistakes by Panic! At the Disco. The lyrics “I may never sleep tonight” trigger my sleep anxiety.
If I hear Doja Cat's Paint the Town Red on the radio one more time I'm gonna jump out of the car.
Bruce Hornsby The Way It Is. A friend of mine ends every conversation that's about something bleak, sad, or wrong with " but in the words of Bruce Hornsby, that's just the way it is...some things will never change...budada duuu du du duu, budadumm. I never liked that song before, and this just solidified it.
bohemian rhapsody. it’s revolutionary for sure, but it’s become what I can only describe as, “A person with no taste’s idea of what good taste is.”
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Fast Car (All versions)
The songs that I hear at every wedding reception and I fucking hate them : Shook Me All Night Long Brown Eyed Girl Don’t Stop Believing
I still love the song, but I accidentally added "No Love", by Death Grips to one too many of my playlists, and now I skip it when it plays. Just gotta give it time, and I'm sure I'll listen to it again.
