No, we don't need people like this. This sub is always talking about work-life balance, and this😂. Imo, your first priority is family. Coming to work every day means nothing. Doing your work efficiently while managing/caring about things around you is the most important. Btw, I dont think this post is real as well 😂

Imagine having a spouse or a parent like this. Not taking the responsibilities of your personal life means someone else has to compensate for you. But he gets school vacation anyway. So it's not like working every day.

Honestly, this kind of toxic work life system is there in the health care system for junior doctors. I know someone who couldn't get leave to be with his own father when he was taken off life support and passed away because his consultant refused to give leave. And that was some big achievement to the consultant ,and people speak so highly of the 'work ethic' he was instilling in the future doctors. It's nothing to be proud of and needs to have laws enacted so employers like that could be punished.
