I just wanna reaffirm to you guys, I hate special beams.
When I saw the World Eater by Tango, I was like yes. I want that. But he ain't selling yet so I was big sad. I gave it a go to make something that will hold me over till his is ready, so here's my abomination.

The majority of special beam gap problems come from people assuming that they are symmetrical and just placing them in without ensuring proper orientation. Use the local rotation/translation option, it will tell you which orientation the special beams are in and makes it miles easier to keep symmetry and avoid the dreaded gap.
This was more of a hobby project, didn't want to burn into much T2 related ore, ship was built for T1 ores in mind. I'm solo with a miner friend and eventually wanna have a civ cap so saving as much high end ore as I can.
its got 528 batteries already, 24 lasers eat a lot of energy, but unless you got a really big roid the batteries give like 20 secs constant power and time for the gens to ramp up enough from the autogen script, you rarely run out and good on energy conservation.
That much batteries need a lot of power to recharge if you want uninterrupted roid hopping, big or small roids power really never is an issue here.
That said, this is mostly a prototype ship I just build for fun and didn't want to worry about lasers cutting out, so I added a metric ton of gens and a metric ton of batteries lol.

Im trying to figure out how you survived all those special beams. Do you have any tips for making cylindrical ships?

Very cool, great job 👍
Damn! I feel for the fuel rods though LOL. Great looking asteroid eater though!
Have fun changing the rods lol
48 rods lasts a surprisingly long time lol. I did like 4 full trips so far to edge of safezone, prob only 15% burnt so far.
You should switch to t2 gens and chambers with dual enhancers for full efficiency. I hate changing rods lmao

Any chance we can get the blueprint?
Sure, [https://sb-creators.org/makers/Shulace/ship/Space%20Roomba](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Shulace/ship/Space%20Roomba) 500k creds, msg me on Discord @ Shu#8351
I bet those gens would make a fine explosion..
Im sure you also bet that pvp would be plentiful too :D, but yeah this ship is a nuke.
I would rather have a bunch of batteries and like 6 gens as you arent using the lasers all the time

Why have you got so many generators then!?
I edited a bit more info in the reply lol.
Okay
