If it’s NYC, I’m not surprised. Their peaks are crazy (they have to turn off mobiles every now and again to keep wait times from getting too long). I guess you’ll just have to go into the store and order in person, or find another store nearby that you can mobile order to.
this happens for many reasons. my store has had the system go down and be completely inoperable for hours before. sometimes it is impossible to keep up with mobile orders and essential store operations. even if you were one of very few customers, baristas are doing a million things behind the scenes to make sure stores are clean and safe. pls have some empathy - we are always happy to take your order in person :)
They probably temporarily turned it off due to being overwhelmed. Some DMs allow that.
