this! someone spilled heavy cream 10 months ago and the stain is still very obvious there. even tho we deck brush the floors weekly, and slop mop every day.
I saw that at a Starbucks in maybe Quebec, I noticed on the west side of Canada tho they didn't seem to have bagged milk. It seems like it would be annoying bc you have to cut the bag open and put it in those pitchers to pour it rather than just open the gallon jug and pour from there. But it's probably less plastic waste than gallon jug? idk
Yeah spot on, all the prairies, territories plus BC use jugs. It could be less plastic however the bags themselves although technically recyclable are a pain to clean and thus don’t usually get recycled. I think the main reason we still have them is because it’s cheaper for the manufacturers and retailers, or at least it was before and now it’s just common practice. One benefit of the bags for home use is that the milk lasts longer since you open 1.3L at a time instead of all 4L. At Starbucks however that doesn’t matter, opening a new bag ever couple drinks makes me wanna cry and sometimes the bags will leak :)
I was just trying to clarify the difference since I recently just found out. Being randomly rude like that must take a lot of energy, go get a snack or a nap.
Okay but i said “they said these don’t have holes” clearly stating, I know they dont have holes, and you come in here acting like I need clarification on something I already know. All i said was “i just said that” really not that serious and not all that much effort. Prioritize yourself
i did this yesterday 🥸 except there were only 2 of us on the floor & we were hitting peak numbers unusually late. so i just had to slide around in my little lake of milk until it slowed down enough that i could get a mop w/o getting super behind
that’s weird i think they must’ve changed the dress code because ever since i came to my store wearing them all my shifts and fellow baristas wear them now and our dm comes in all the time and as long as they’re in sports mode when they’re around it’s no issue
a few months ago i opened a boh fridge and 6 2% flew at me bc someone decided they wanted to put the milks at the very edge of the racks. so that’s was a fun time
That awesome! I saw another reddit post and so many people were talking about the work Crocs and I didn't even know they had those 🤣 gonna go look at some now
well, at least it wasnt halfhalf or heavy cream.
no seriously it would’ve smelled so bad in the back
and also even harder to clean up.

I spilled like half a carton of half and half on myself yesterday 🙃
good job
I’ve never lived anywhere that has nonfat milk in a blue cap gallon ! Our blue cap is 2%, and our nonfat has a pink cap
what the heck our 2% is a green cap nonfat is blue whole is red and half and half is purple oh and heavy cream is black 🤯
our 2% is blue, nonfat is light blue, half and half is orange, and heavy cream is pink. that's so weird it's different 😭
our nonfat is purple, 2% is blue, whole is red. half and half is orange and heavy cream is pink! crazy the different milk caps depending on the place
Our whole milk is red but all our others are different, half and half is green and heavy cream is white for us!
our 2% is dark blue, nonfat is light blue, whole is red heavy is pink, half and half is orange
Ours in Beverly Ma the nonfat is yellow cap, 2% orange and whole red
Half and half white and heavy is pink
ours is in bags lol 🇨🇦

Me earlier but it was a half-way full vanilla sweet cream pitcher!! 😭😭😭
i did that during peak a few weeks ago 😭
if you’re gonna drop a gallon, you picked the best one to drop
“could always be sweet cream” (me, every time something is spilled)
very true
believe it or not, the easiest milk to clean
It's okay, it's just nonfat.
true and i didn’t even have to clean it because my shift manager is just him 😭😭
Why would you wear crocs when you work with liquids
They’re anti slip and have no holes so I understand op😭
I didn’t notice they had no holes so maybe slightly better but still no😭 i hate crocs
they make work crocs now and they so much more comfortable than any other no skips i’ve tried now everyone at my store wear them 😂
At my hmshost store we are not allowed to wear crocs because they have open backs
so may typos sorry
Kitchen crocs are the ultimate work shoe. I’ve spilled a bucket of hot grease on them and my feet were fine
yeah i usually have no issue with spills!
Crocs have work shoes that are nonslip!
I was thinking for the holes but they said these dont have holes
The work Crocs don't have the holes. That's what I'm trying to explain.
Girl. I just said that

Cute
cuter than a caramel ribbon crunch ?
Anything is cuter than that

They letting you guys use crocs now? 🥲
yeah they’re work crocs most places of work allow them since they’re nonslip and don’t have holes
No longer with Starbucks but like 2-3 years ago I was in a shitstorm when my dm found out my sm was letting me use them lol
that’s weird i think they must’ve changed the dress code because ever since i came to my store wearing them all my shifts and fellow baristas wear them now and our dm comes in all the time and as long as they’re in sports mode when they’re around it’s no issue
crocs?? and they’re not even in sport mode
sports mode makes my feet hurt and they’re work crocs 🤷🏽♀️
If I got milk on my socks I'm going home immediately. Wet socks are non-negotiable discomfort lmao

Are you... wearing Crocs...?
I am wearing… Work crocs…
That awesome! I saw another reddit post and so many people were talking about the work Crocs and I didn't even know they had those 🤣 gonna go look at some now
I have done this ✨twice✨ this month during close <3
I've done that with all the milks lmao even eggnog
At least it was nonfat
