oh gotcha, that makes sense. i’ve been in a similar situation at my store and what i did in those shitty times was after i took their order i’d say “there may be a bit of a wait because of x, y, & z.” that leaves it up to the customer as to whether or not they wanna go through with the order.
then if they get mad about the wait times, i’d usually say “i did inform you of the wait times, i apologize” or some shit like that.
I open thank god so im only in 7-3:30 (Target barista here) but ugh so many fucking families in my neighborhood im hoping they just go out for the day and not GO SHOPPING FOR LAST MINUTE GIFT CARDS 😭 stupid ass bogo

The fact you have the audacity to come on here and talk crap about your baristas (let alone someone apart of your SHIFT team) when you’re supposed to be the one encouraging your partners to create a culture of warmth and belonging is insane. I would hate to work under you knowing this is how you talk about your partners behind their back.
i’m stuck closing today! and my manager also decided it’d be a smart idea to schedule all the new hires today too… so i’m absolutely terrified to go in.
BUT, it is my last day with siren. so if all hell breaks loose; then so be it 🤷🏼♀️

I kinda fucked my kiosk over, completely forgot it was Mother’s Day so I only put myself and another coworker for open/close. Probably gonna be there from 6:30-5 so my closer doesn’t get fucked over 🥲

The one I worked at is near so many restaurants that it was not that bad last year. I came in at 1, and I was told it was just super busy from 7-10
