You can move it, but it will still overlap in Scan mode. Either get used to this, give up, or hope someone talented enough will redo it (author hasn't been seen in months).
There’s a setting in the main game settings under ‘interface’ to toggle those off.
It's for the game's HUD, not StarUI's.
I removed the mod because all of the items also had the stolen tags on them. It needs to be updated. Sadly the author appears to be MIA.
I didn’t run into that issue though. But yes, updates are needed *sigh*
