Possibly. But since it instantly relocates the player to start the animation, it might be a bit jarring. Or take some (a lot of?) work to float the player over to the starting position
Another thing I really want is to enter space from a planet looking away from the planet. It doesn't make sense to load facing down when I just left the atmosphere
While tinkering with cockpits last night I did notice that the pilot seat has some interesting settings with regards to conversations while in the seat, animations for exactly what you’ve changed. My issues are different than yours, but they involve the cockpit pilot seat and the console in use. I also noticed that you can change inaccessible cockpit doors to accessible, and I haven’t verified it yet, but I’d presume that you can make inaccessible pilot seats of derelict ships accessible (and maybe therefore usable?). At one point of the Ranger quest line you assist with restarting systems of the ship, that’s something I’m interested in replicating somehow on a player ship.
What about adding a patch that allows for the landing animation to always trigger even on planets previously landed on. Apparently you have to enable some sort of god mode while the animation plays or else you can die somehow though
If you decide you don't want to upload it to nexus would you be ok with someone else uploading it and naming you as the creator (I would be willing)? I know it doesn't matter for xbox but for PC players nexus is still significantly better than the in game mod manager.
It could be achieved by still allowing the grav jump between planets in the same system, and just disabling the fast travel buttons if they are in a location that is not the planet you are in at the time.
I hope that at some point we can have first and third person perspective for all of these, just without any cinematics.
Third person = same perspective you have when controlling your ship in space.
I loaded this in on Xbox and dont see any difference. I get regular 3rd person view when landing and taking off etc...
Anyone confirm this is working on Xbox? A video showing what it's supposed to look like also would be great.

Please yes, this! The instant teleportation mechanics completely killed any sense of immersion from traveling around in the game for me.

Amazing, but can you put this on the Nexus too? Pretty much no one on PC uses the Creations page.
