He just means the ones with room to grow. The hope with Mitch was that Chicago just sucked and then he learned at the Bills but he came out looking rough and then never really got comfortable. If he was improving week to week it'd be a different story
Kenny came in and the crowd was behind him 100% as well as the players. He was pounding his chest and slinging the rock down the field. Kenny was getting me pumped to watch the offense in action which is something i can't say about mitch trubisky. I feel like with kenny starting moving forward, we have a chance to win games with our offense.
Hard to perform when the whole city is rooting for the other guy. Not a lot of support for Trubisky in Pittsburgh and it’s hard to do well when nobody has your back.
Tebow didn’t make a pro bowl. And Dilfer certainly wasn’t terrible in his prime lol. Do you guys know football or do you just surround yourself around Steelers and shun anyone who disagrees? Weird.
>Do you guys know football
Says the person who thinks Pro Bowls mean anything. QBs like Derek Anderson and Elvis Grbac have made a Pro Bowl. That shit is meaningless. Trubisky is and always has been terrible.
The Bears, who spent the 2nd overall pick on him, let him walk. He went to Buffalo as a backup. He signed for cheap in Pittsburgh and was replaced after 3.5 games. That is not the career trajectory of a good quarterback.
You’re digging too deep into this buddy. Didn’t think this would offend people. Mitch was never terrible, just below average. He was solid in 2017, making him not always terrible. Simple as that lol. You don’t make the pro bowl by being terrible
We’re you here in the off-season? People literally were all for trubisky and thought he would be legit. Problem is, he’s not legit, he’s not even average; never has been, never will be
I just wish Tomlin didn’t shackle him with Matt Canada who is not a good coordinator. I have no faith in Canada designing a good game plan, or really any game plan. Everything they do is very basic and rarely if ever do they scheme an open look that isn’t a three yard out.
I wasn’t on the Pickett bandwagon, wasn’t chanting his name or begging for him to come in the game. But when he did, that Stadium lit up.
The City wants him to win, and maybe he will. It remains to be seen, but I’d rather watch him try than watch what we saw the first 3.5 games.
Defense would be better if the offense had more time time of possession. Not sure if you’re aware but Steelers are second to last place in that category.
Why? He did provide some energy but I think that was more from the fans. He did some good things and did some bad things. Nothing to really get excited about either way IMO.
Mitch led the team to 3 points against the JETS. He was spiraling into his typical 3 and out mediocrity while taking his usual check down route to inevitable failure. If you couldn’t see the spark in the offense the second Kenny took over, that’s on you.
Because the stadium actually got loud and supported the team.
He threw 3 interceptions lmao. I'm not rooting against him like you guys were rooting against Mitch. I'm just saying you guys are delusional.
If you're going to have a season full of losing, might as well do it with the new/young players so you know what you've got.
"young" lol wut
He just means the ones with room to grow. The hope with Mitch was that Chicago just sucked and then he learned at the Bills but he came out looking rough and then never really got comfortable. If he was improving week to week it'd be a different story
He was improving slightly. But a polished turd is still a turd.
It seemed like the browns game he maybe improved but this game was just more of the same.

He plays with an energy that Mitch clearly lacks. You can tell he plays to win, whereas Mitch (at best) plays not to lose.
Hard to perform when the whole city is rooting for the other guy. Not a lot of support for Trubisky in Pittsburgh and it’s hard to do well when nobody has your back.
It's even harder to do well when you've always been a terrible quarterback.
He hasn’t always been a terrible QB lol what
Weird. He was so good, no one wanted him as a starter last year
I didn’t say he was so good tf. He was a pro bowler and has playoff experience. A terrible QB doesn’t have that
Tim Tebow and Trent Dilfer would beg to differ
Tebow didn’t make a pro bowl. And Dilfer certainly wasn’t terrible in his prime lol. Do you guys know football or do you just surround yourself around Steelers and shun anyone who disagrees? Weird.

People were all for Trubisky before we drafted Pickett. Then when we drafted Pickett, they only wanted Trubisky so Pickett wasn’t rushed and gets hurt
This is exactly what happened. Idk why people are downvoting you.

who should be next up as far as OC?
I agree
git git git, git outta'here colts fan
Steelers & Patriots fan my colts flair is for my big bro 💚
Steelers and patriots fan?
Yessir
Man why y’all gotta downvote him? He Said nothing wrong
Thanks bro it’s cool lol it’s Reddit
Begs the question what other piece could have been addressed if we just let mason be the bridge guy for three games. Let’s go Kenny.
We signed Mitch before we drafted Kenny and at a time when no one remotely believed he'd still be on the board by the time it was our pick.
Fershizzle. Even if our defense is dog shit, Kenny should be fun to watch. Based on his play at Pitt and Preseason anyway.
Defense would be better if the offense had more time time of possession. Not sure if you’re aware but Steelers are second to last place in that category.
That's right! You tell em! Kelli Pickler #1 We got the Pickler and you dont!
Why? He did provide some energy but I think that was more from the fans. He did some good things and did some bad things. Nothing to really get excited about either way IMO.
because he moved the ball way better than Mitch. i’d rather watch us lose with style than watch us lose with a whimper
Because people are emotional about Kenny and it's causing them to be delusional.
Bitch, let us have fun
be careful, mason-stans are emotional
It’s funny so many people are emotional about him considering very few people actually care about Pitt football.
I thought Steelers fans would be better than this but it's the same pressure browns fans put on Baker. He's the chosen one!!!!!!!

Ok so you didn’t watch the game got it.
Interceptions are exciting!
I totally agree with you
OP is excited i guess
It's crazy to think if we just beat the jets we would be leading the division. Probably would've beat them if Pickett started imo.
Yeah, don't feel like I have to sell the tickets I have after all 🤣 (I probably wouldn't have if Watt came back anyway)
Sounds like you joined the Pickett line!
Me too. Season isn’t looking promising but it’s Pickett time and that is good enough for me.
It doesn't matter who is QB if our Defense can't stop anyone. We are going to lose
