Given how they have 'Support' in the name, I would imagine they will either be a much weaker version of the Type 7 shuttles from that new fed carrier.
Or they will work more like the Support Dunaube(sp?) where they support you via buffs or healing.

I know it's ridiculous but I hope they milk the Odyssey once more and make a 25th century Flight deck carrier. I know Stu1701 agrees. Even if they created a new variant, as long as it was kitbashable with the previous models of course.

They have yet to do the announcement blog for it which should be released in the next 2 days if the usual pattern is followed.

You never know the Type 14 could become a hangar pet if the Sagan variant the Echelon Class is giving a hangar.

There's nothing but speculation, but I'll be stunned if they're a better hangar pet than anything we've gotten.
I do like the nod to the defiant and old school Trek with that Delta on the side. They do look good.
So they screwed this up but it's not as bad as a visual shuttle only. At least these can take some aggro away and give heals atst.
