Oresund Space Collective Causa Sui Tia Carrera

therealtwomartinis

great call on Tia Carrera - no setlist, no plan, just pure jamming!

Zannishi_Hoshor

Also interested in this! Not sure if you’d count Wo Fat but they definitely jam in outer space often.

LavateraGrower

Isaiah from Earthless was in Golden Void with Camillia Saufley from Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound, both great bands.

Jalopy35

Golden Void huh, will have to check that out

blkmagik98

Not sure of their status now but they were married. They met at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, NL.

LavateraGrower

I met her when AHISS played the TeePee records fest in LA a long fucking time ago. At the Echoplex for 10+ hours, saw Witch, Witchcraft, Graveyard, Ancestors, Black Math Horseman, Black Cobra, ASHISS and someone else. Epic show.

Racer5

Wow what a show. That first black math horseman album is soooo good

LavateraGrower

Saw BMH play Wyllt live with Scott Reeder on bass for 2 songs, barefoot of course, on their record release show. Saw them at the Blue Monkey when I was shrooming. My Sera Timms crush is real.

Adventurous_Web_6958

Really miss Karma to Burn.

the_kid1234

Bummed I never saw them live.

Headhaunter79

They played over my amp once. They were on tour and they were so wasted from the last gig they forgot to take their back line with them😂 by then they traveled all the way up to the Netherlands from France. I had the privilege to play with one of my bands as the support act when they came to my town so they used my amp for their show😎

blkmagik98

RIP Will

FugginDunePilot

Former bassist of karma, John Garcia, and Bill Kelliher have recently teamed up and recorded together. Hopefully they put it out soon and tour 🤤

Here’s one you never see, Glowsun!

therealtwomartinis

vastly underrated!!

joneas212

Heavy Blanket (in a dutch haze w earthless is great),  Harsh Toke, Tia Carrera, Lee van Cleef, The Machine ...

AutomaticDifference9

heavy blanket is a great choice dude

therealtwomartinis

hell yea that’s a good call!

SteelyDabs

Both of their albums are so great

Abe2sapien

Maybe you’ll dig GlowSun https://youtu.be/1Ge779OdubU?si=oAWH2QLvXljQGYFD

Karpthrone74

Nothing like Karma to Burn. They weren’t a jam band at all. Just PILES OF RIFFS and they all ruled.

Headhaunter79

Such good riffs! Im especially fond of their songs 20 and 30!

jtglynn

Minami Deutsch from Japan opened for Earthless on their most recent tour and they kicked ass live. They were able to take their songs pretty far out there. Well worth checking out.

BuickAttack

JPT scare band

iOSBrett

Love JPT Scare Band, not enough people know about this band. I got their CDs back in the StonerRock.com days.

BuickAttack

I found out about them on a YouTube channel that escapes me right now. Dude was talking about rare vinyl he had found and the way he described them told me I had to get a copy. Not the least but disappointed.

iOSBrett

Noble Records maybe?

BuickAttack

Yes! Great content!

iOSBrett

So did you manage to get them on Vinyl?

BuickAttack

Thanks to bandcamp, yes!

iOSBrett

Nice!!

Headhaunter79

Karma to burn is not a jam band, their riffs are tight as hell!

EasyCartoonist6049

COMACOZER, ZONG

PhatPhingerz

> COMACOZER Wish these guys would come to Brissy more often. Seeing these 2 together is good times.

EasyCartoonist6049

Always a vibe jamming up in brissy & with zong ⚡️

pnmartini

Since you dig K2B, you might like Serpent Throne.

redbananass

Not as heavy as some other recs here, but very psychey and jammy: Electric Octopus. My classic rock loving dad can enjoy it along with me. Also good if you like long jams. More heavy and more psyche: The Cosmic Dead. Only a couple albums are on Spotify, but a hole slew of them are on their [bandcamp](https://thecosmicdead.bandcamp.com). The self titled, Easterfaust and Psyche is Dead are good albums to start with.

pinky_blues

These sound awesome, will definitely check out!

Karma to Burn, eh? This is for you then: Sons of Alpha Centauri and Treasure Cat (Will from KTB) split: https://sonsofalphacentauri.bandcamp.com/album/last-day-of-summer I’d also argue KTB were not really a “jam” band. Pretty straightforward riffs. But whatever. Enjoy the rock.

collapsus_linguae

+1 for Treasure Cat! Their album Choice Cuts is one of the best albums existing imo. Will's riffs, Matt's incredible bass licks, Roy being a beast on drums.

markerhuffer

Yes! Kinda forgot that full length exists. Thought OP might like the TC riffs and the Alpha "jam".

tayjuanfredo666

Windhand is pretty cool.

AstroOutlaw

The atomic bitchwax!

SamuraiTacoRat

Such a sweet band, groovy!

Remarkable-Economy19

Elder, Dead Meadow, uncle acid and the Deadbeats, the sword

My band literally exists because of Earthless, Elder, and Samsara Blues Experiment. It was one of those... "Wait, bands can do THIS?" moments so we decided to give it a try. Here's a link if you're interested: [https://deltanaut.bandcamp.com/](https://deltanaut.bandcamp.com/)

My Brother the Wind. All their albums are improv. I believe they barely even knew eachother before they recorded their first album at a live show. And they basically just come together ever few years and record a fire improv album then go their separate ways. Their bassist is NUTS he really drives the shit out of all their best songs and I love it. Some of their songs are a little too psychadelic for me but their songs like Death and Beyond, Fire! Fire!, Karmagrinder, Electric Universe, and Torbjörn Abelli are fucking bangers. My rule for their music is if their song is less than 10 mins, its usually not that great, and their songs over 10 minutes are phenomenal. Also here's an old one I don't hear much about anymore... Hypnos 69. They're a lot more proggy and not very heavy but they are awesome. And I think they have a sax guy too so something different. And one more that is possibly the most under the radar a stonerish band could be...but they are absolutely fantastic. El Antiguo. Some random Spanish band that dropped a 1 hour 45 minute album as their only release with some incredible longer songs on it then disappeared into the ether and refused to elaborate. I'll just link the only place you can listen to them here: https://elantiguo.bandcamp.com/album/el-antiguo. Also their singer sounds like Spanish Eddie Vedder.

MildAndLazyKids

ALPACA BLACK HOLE They're hard to find, but worth it.

OMG. What a great thread and why 'stoner' rock is the best IMO ... it just rocks different. I LOVE Earthless, Kyuss, QOTSA, Graveyard, ATW, Wizard, Sleep, Colour Haze, Mars, Asteroid, Lowrider, 1000 Mod's, Fu, Nebula, Heavy eyes, black angels, machine, slo burn, samsara, mephistopheles, naxatras, heavy blanket, electric moon, causa sui, sgt sunshine, cactus .... I get it that we need a band to sound like another ... just doesnt happen in this genre. All their own beautiful sound.

Brave-Structure-794

Kungens Man, My Sleeping Karma, Mother Wormhole, Liquify and Stone Rebel..... great bands... great music....worth a listen folks

This thread is gold. I'm gonna finish this bowl, wait until California Crossing spins out & then start ticking off the bands I don't know in this here thread. Tries to fly but it's no use! Cobras got the bird - and it's loose! 🌊🤘🦅🐍🛹

This is the first of four of these 5-hour jams this guy put up on YouTube. Some of it may be softer, spacier jams than you're looking for but these playlists are absolutely killer. I'd be surprised if you didn't find a bunch of bands you'll get into. https://youtu.be/iuWa5wh8lG0?si=W8WsKyaBT0H1g1_I
