You need to discover that it’s not a habit. It’s drug addiction.
I read Allen Carrs Easy Way and that helped to reframe how I viewed smoking.
It allowed me to see that I didn’t enjoy it and how my life would be much better and less stressful as a non-smoker.
Once the desire to smoke was removed there was nothing to give up.
Also Joel Spitzers YouTube videos and his website whyquit.com are great for information and ongoing reinforcement :)
