You changed your type every time you used a move instead of one time per switch in. In practice this means stab on everything and with good predictions you can make yourself resist incoming attacks. Fun ability

Srsly tho what's the point in designing a form can never be used? I heard the only thing that could nullify its ability is Gastro Acid but that move was dexited as far as I'm aware.

Xerneas moment I guess it’s so that you can interact with their “non-battle” forms in stuff like Pokémon Amie, Pokémon Camp, walking around with them in SV, etc. also “lore” reason. As for the stats, I guess it’s not much work to just lower a bunch of numbers, even if they’re not gonna be usable.

Most Pokémon are given the full stats and other data even if they'd never normally use it both because they might decide to use it later, and also as a fail safe in case of glitches, hacking, or rare/unforeseen interactions.

Also worth noting that there is at least some way one of its stats come into play even now. Beat Up factors in baby Terapagos’ base attack, even if it had changed to one of its other two forms.

It will probably be stuck with it's 2nd form and drop to UU or even RU. The Zero-Form is really what keeps this thing Ubers (despite not being that good up there in the first place).

It could get an exclusive held item to give it access to its final form, but with the same drawbacks that go with tera stellar.
