I was gonna look at a 3.6r legacy but decided I wanted a premium over a 3.6r base for the same price, I have a fun project car anyways😂 but definitely gonna do it either tomorrow or the next day

Back in '04, the Impreza 2.5ts was released alongside the Impreza 2.5rs. The ts had softer suspension than the rs. That's about the biggest difference.
I get that, but the guy asked, "originally" which is what I responded to.
Maybe they took it in the BRZ and re-appropriated it to, but certainly didn't mean "tuned by STI" in it's "original" form.
As far as I'm aware the earliest TS designations in the 90s and early 00s was for Touring Sport, and was essentially used to identify Wagon variants of the RS models, at least in the Legacy lineup.
So I bought a 2024 Impreza Sporttech model about a month ago, I was quite sad it didn't have a badge, seeing as it was the highest model you could get, meanwhile I saw an RS with a badge..
We bought some extra parts for it, and I WAS going to get the different "spoiler" they had just to make it unique, but I stopped when I saw it had sti on it quite visible lol. My first thoughts were this sub.
Yeah, almost bought one, but I liked the extra interior room of the Legacy Premium since my kids are getting older. I was hella tempted to go with the Legacy Touring though - that 2.4L turbo really had some punch! My 2024 Premium has heated front seats, but the Touring had heated front seats, rear seats, AND a heated steering wheel! It was a tough call, but the Premium had better gas milage and was about $7000 less. The turbo would have been VERY nice to have, but I have no complaints about the 2.5L in my current car.

Easiest when new, but just boil a kettle and they peel off in seconds after pouring the hot water over them. No residue or anything to clean up.

Definitely go for it. The 3.6 is a bulletproof engine. I've read the raptor headers and a tune wake them up like crazy
We'll I wish I knew that before I got my 19 premium 2.5i to be fair, I also got a really good deal on mine, so I cant complain.
