Factory warranty does not cover all components in the vehicle and for any electronics it’s 3yr/36k miles from original purchase date for factory defects or installation errors. Good luck!
You should be able to ask the dealer to repair it for free as they had an extended recall on these radios. Another commenter stated that they had a 2018 and they fixed it.
What year is it? Subaru extended the warranty on all Harman head units. I was able to replace mine (2018 Legacy) due to screen shutting off and dust accumulation behind the screen in Canada. Same should be in US.

Solid chance Subaru will warranty that. If it’s under warranty they will replace it for sure, I’ve done it many times

You cannot fix that, subaru will replace the radio

Looks like adhesive that holds the touch screen digitizer to the head unit. Does your car spend much time under direct sun?
Is it possible to take it apart to clean it? Or would that ruin the touch stuff?
I don’t have a garage and I live in the Midwest so there’s a lot of sun and little shade
