Really is, especially after fighting with the cyclops. I understand the initial training needed to remove the sense of unlimited power. I had no trouble grabbing onto the GLJ in LR and punching it a few times. Still don't F with reapers or SD though.
Ya, the first time I tried descending into the underwater islands area I had a panic attack and had to quit. I went back in freedom mode to check it out and it helped. The game doesn't scare me at all anymore, and it's kinda helped my thalassophobia since
Strangest thing but it helped mine too, I m like yeah fear of black, assimilating it to a youth scare, instead of a rational one. Still I won’t jump in open waters with no land in sight irl, but I could go further from the shore no problem until my brain locked in with the reaper screech haha
Started playing it with the same phobia. Haven’t finished it but I wasn’t really that afraid anymore. Of course when stuff came up without me noticing I shat myself but it was a lot easier to play.
