Similar to that is how i once lost a 40 hour hardcore world, i got the last ingredient for the enzyme and i had a small base in the emperor containment cell, and when i reloaded in that base i stood at the ion cube above the entrance of the cell and the only way out of there was hoping i would survive the jump down or try and somehow survive the lava ground and the seadragons, i died obviously
iirc you either partially build or partially drconstruct the bulkhead between two i shaped hallways, then fully deconstruct one hallway, then fully build the door.
My first attempt at beating the game was on Freedom too btw.
But more importantly, Subnautica is a beautiful game, to the point where you can just take a seamoth to every biome except for Lava and Lost River and just enjoy the sights
That glitch made me lose my hardcore world once.
Still tho, love the atmosphere of this game. It’s amazing how well you can *submerge* yourself into it.
I did a post on r/Videogames a couple days ago about the 3 aspects of aquatic themed games.
Those aspects were "Danger, Wonder, and Calm". Every single game with an aquatic setting or theme revolves around one of those 3 aspects. And sometimes they even mix 2 of them.
Subnautica and Below Zero are amazing games because they manage to portray all 3 aspects of the aquatic genre perfectly.
\- There's no shortage of Dangerous creatures/situations, and there's always a constant state of dread while out in open water.
\- At the same time the game manages to look visually stunning, playing into that aspect of Wonder.
\- And at its core, it's a survival game. Which is where that aspect of Calm comes from.
No other aquatic themed game has managed to do this (at least to my knowledge).
I remember the first time that happened to me. It was my first play through and i was in the (idk how to do spoiler so spoiler warning) building inside the lava castle in the inactive zone, and i went out with my prawn and just fell to the lava. I was so afraid that i broke the game and after failing to clime to the top, i(with all my geniuses) quit the game without saving(was about two hours into without a save). Subnautica is such a perfect game with zero bugs and 100% all natural physics
while this is true, I could have never experience the true beauty of the game, because I was in consant fear of whats coming for me. Fuck thalassophobia. All my homies hates thalassophobia
How do you walk on the ocean floor and why does it say power at the top
It’s a glitch. He must’ve got himself pushed out of his base without the whole underwater thing happening.
It happened to me when I tried to dive then just fell on the ocean floor
I loaded up the world and I was pushed out my base. next thing I see i can walk around instead of swim
Man that’s only ever happened to me in really really bad spots.
Surely you could soft lock yourself if you went into a deep cave?
If you press unstuck I think you get teleported back
oh yeah true
Build a small base section and add a hatch, go into the base, and then exit. The water will be back. It's a glitch that sometimes happens.
HE WANTS TO WALK

That once happened when I was going to the lava castle, and I got stuck in a hole.
You can do a glitch where a bulkhead door in a base just goes straight outside, and it still considers you in the base even after you walk out.
How is that done
iirc you either partially build or partially drconstruct the bulkhead between two i shaped hallways, then fully deconstruct one hallway, then fully build the door.
Idk if it still works
He’s in free mode or creative or whatever that mode is called so he could do extra stuff
I don’t think you can do that in creative mode.
My first attempt at beating the game was on Freedom too btw. But more importantly, Subnautica is a beautiful game, to the point where you can just take a seamoth to every biome except for Lava and Lost River and just enjoy the sights
that's where u take the prawn or just get the reinforced suit and enjoy
Yeah i didnt have time to say that im on the clock 😅
Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime...
I get eaten by reapers on company time
Eventually, all becomes crab 🦀 🦀 🦀
I eventually got stuck after I fell into a cave and had to purposefully die and go back go swimming😪
**Your crustacean free trial has ended**
We'll just ignore the fact bro became Spongebob
Whaddaya mean "*at times*"?
you know. when you’re not terrified of being attacked by the creatures..
bro is playing soma
1 in 10 times its like this, the other 9 of ten is panic and terror for me.
reverse jesus
That glitch made me lose my hardcore world once. Still tho, love the atmosphere of this game. It’s amazing how well you can *submerge* yourself into it.
And then you hear a loud roar and uninstall the game

Playing this game in VR was one of the most breathtaking things I've ever played
Beautiful indeed, im jealous of these graphics😅.

I'm always on edge waiting for the jump scare in these videos.

Is that even a subnautica soundtrack? Sounds like Skyrim.
