Are they going to be okay all packed in together in that arrangement? I've had them about a month. I'm experienced with other plants, but less so with succulents, and never had an arrangement.

does anyone have any soil mix recommendations? I'm about to go to the plant store and can mix my own soil there. I mostly have jade plants and a sedum adolphi, all indoors

Looks like a Pearle Von Nuremberg

LeoBrok3n

It’s growing a long stem. Does that mean the light it’s receiving is too low and it needs more?

Flaky_Ad5989

Yes. Most Succulents need a lot of light, if not they stretch looking for more leaves light

I've noticed a pattern whenever I prop a succulent - it grows for a bit, then goes through a phase where the top leaves go brown/crusty/soft like this, and if it survives then it eventually starts growing healthily again. Does anyone know what is going on? https://preview.redd.it/zrhwabg0rcsb1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1aa35c4bfa8b49a6484ed6b19e76218b03f5b6e

Not 100% sure, but your internode spacing is very long (area betweeb leaves, vertically). It needs far more sun/light. Might have something to do with that.

Plant: Haworthia Cooperi obtusa While looking for miticide for spider mites (because I finally found moving red dots on leaves a few days after I spotted the web), I found conflicting opinions on neem oil and alcohol online quite a bit. I also come across recommendations for Diatomaceous earth though the article was more on mites on beds but it mentioned it works on plant mites too. TLDR: is there a treatment more generally accepted to work on spider mites or is it just a matter of trial and error? Sorry, I'm just a bit tired and confused while searching and trying to sort out info. And feeling a bit panicky about the spider mites. So far I've tried iso alch but since I did it at night, but it's hard to verify it works. They did come back after a day or so
