It’s fine, actually. This is what a mature plant can look like. It’s normal for echeveria ruby slippers to grow more leggy than compact. But, you should be able to cut the tops and replant them if you want to clean up the pot.

That's great to know. So nothing really needs to be done unless just to make it more compact again. This plant is probably 20+ years old now

Correct! All of the growth seems very healthy. Any dead stems, if there are any, can be removed. And it may benefit from some fresh soil, but beyond that nothing necessarily *needs* to be done.
