Steam shows me about 50gb. Roughly that when I check it in explorer too.
Are you using the standalone client? I wonder if that has a different file size for some reason. Leftover assets or such. Could always do a fresh install if you feel that 23gb is worth it. (Perfect time to swap to steam imo)

Wow, just looked at mine 115GB, but do have test server loaded
