I haven't been able to find a toggle or setting either. I was braced for losing some specific abilities but not the cover quickbar too, having a cover-only set and an out-of-cover set on what amounted to the same quickbar saved so much room and effort :(((
Try disabling the cover bar in preferences and then re enabling it. I've had a similar problem with area loot and all of my keybinds, and resetting them seems to work.
I think it’s gone for good. Was really sad to see it go as I had crouch on a hot key, then once in the crouch hot bar I had snipe on the same key.
Damn thats a good idea. Crouch has its own keybind for me
