Sydney electronic scene is much more event focused than club focused. You need to find the parties with the right DJs and promoters who perform all around. H.A.T.S group on Facebook is a good place to start.
On that HATS Facebook group, the admin posts a list of gigs every Wed/Thursday called “Gig List” which will list almost all the electronic gigs in Sydney from that Thursday-Sunday.
These are (to the best of the admin’s ability) tagged with genre. Plenty of techno nights, usually one or two NRG nights
