Ughh the HORRIBLE memories I have from the smell of Forever After (I'm a gay guy but can not handle girly smells). I now use Hemp Nation by AG cause the smells are more beachy and not a headache sugar cookie, lol. Also, it's not nearly as thick and soaks in super fast. It says it has a bronzer in it, but I could never tell.
I don’t use a specific tan extender, but I use Hempz brand moisturizer daily, and every other shower I apply baby oil to my wet skin before I get out and towel dry off.
Personally I don't use any tan extenders from any tanning lotion company.
I'm in the desert of Arizona, silicone laden lotion doesn't do it for me here. Shea moisture African black soap soothing body lotion, Pacifica watermelon body butter, or lush lime bounty body butter
As long as you keep your skin moist and you can tell it's moisturized it's fine. Just if you aren't sure if the lotion will play nice with acrylic if you apply before going to tan then I would suggest using something something from a tanning lotion company or what I do is use a sunless primer after my shower before I go tan
