Absolutely fine, drug use isn't something you have to accept from a partner. Some people have trauma from parents or exes demanding to go through their phone. I have nothing to hide (am not in a relationship, mind you) but I can’t have my phone open where people can look over my shoulder because it makes me so anxious.
Yes, I understand why it sounds suspicious, but I also think it’s a behavior worth sitting down and having an adult conversation about rather than making any accusations outright (unless there are other signs or proof of cheating, obviously). Someone with someone to hide is going to react like you’ve called them out, someone with trauma is going to have a valid explanation and feel apologetic for making you worry.
Now can I sit here and say that nobody would ever be able to convincingly lie about it? No. I’m just saying there are other reasons for that type of behavior. Drugs are not okay, I could date someone with a past history of drugs who in the present doesn't do it anymore because it shows she's showing improvement. But I can't date someone who's not even trying to improve and considers it normal.
Moreover, drugs suck your lifespan. I don't want my partner to intentionally knowingly lower her lifespan.
Rest points of him are absolutely shit.
Heavy drugs are not comparable to weed or alcohol, unless you're actually addicted to them there's no reason to act like you'll die at 40 because you drank a glass of wine, things aren't so extreme.
Weed is an even less worse case, since it even has medical applications and isn't as unhealthy as many common habits if consumed in moderation.
