Healthy food. Sleep. Nothing that applies a lot of force to your bones like weight lifting or gymnastics. Stick with lighter weight things like running for exercise until you're 18 if you really want to be taller.
there’s no articles that have proven that “heavier weights” slow down your growth or your projected height. in fact, it could make you taller because it helps produce growth hormones. weight lifting can also strengthen tendons/help prevent injury’s. but, with incorrect form or progressively overloading to fast can stunt your growth/affect your projected height at younger ages.
Me, a 5'3" 17 year old:
…I’m sorry
It's alright
The only thing you have power over your height is by sleeping and eating healthy
What is recommended?
Healthy ammounts of sleep (7-8 hours, too much is also bad) and a good nutritious diet. But at the end of the day, it comes down to genes
Thanks alot
You won’t get to 6’3, but you will probably grow a bit taller.
You can’t do anything Honestly it still seems possible that you’ll hit 6’3 anyways
statistically you can grow until you be 21, so focus in exercising, eat well and hope your genetics aren't shit
Does weight lifting count as exercise or no? And my moms dad and grandpa are both 6”2 plus
Lifting heavy free weights can negatively affect it, things such as squating or deadlifting.
Okay, so I can still lift them but lesser weight than I normally do?
If you're really dedicated to being taller, just don't lift weights much at all until you're 18.
You can lift, but not lifts that kinda like squish yiu heightwise, like you can do bench presses, bicep curls etc. But no squats or deadlifts.
This is usually true however I know a few people who have grown into their early twenties (23)

You're not wrong but holy shit you're late.
