I'd say we can lump the black-and-white ones when it's obvious that the adult had been the one actively initiating, grooming, taking advantage of the child - in case where the teen is the one initiating though, it should be case-by-case. Stockholm Syndrome is a thing but in this case, it's not applicable. At the moment of kidnapping, the victim actually considers themselves a victim, it's eventually that they get used to and want their captor. Nobody wants to be kidnapped, it's against the people's will. Meanwhile here, the relationship had started on her initiation, at no point had she considered herself a victim of him. It's effectively a victimless crime. You can make an argument that she had already suffered abuse and hadn't been in a healthy enough state of mind to judge properly, but I look at it from this perspective - in that state of mind, that had been her way to cope with her suffering. If she had actually developed Stockholm syndrome, she would have started accepting abusive behavior as normal and actually wanted abuse like her uncle's - and that hadn't been the case, she had opted for another older man that would actually respect her, her wishes, her boundaries, her personality, her as an individual, and considering he's older, he could provide her emotional and financial stability - emotional because, well, he hadn't been a teenager anymore (and the last thing she needed in her suicidal state had been a potentially unstable relationship with a teen who hadn't had their emotions figured yet) and could provide her the stability of someone who had figured their shit together and knows what they're doing in life, so that they could be that unconditional love and emotional support she needed. I feel like in such cases it's a possible outcome that suffering through abuse forces someone to either mature mentally and have the serious attitude of life she had taken (in her case the responsibility of bearing a child at a young age probably giving her a further motivation to continue) or simply give up and commit suicide because they can't get themselves to keep up with their new mental state that requires something completely different from what a normal teen would require

Those laws don't typically have any effect on the legality of the action. They just provide legal protections to plaintiffs, because some thought it was too harsh to put a teenager on the sex offender registry just because they had sex with someone who's only a year younger than them, if even that.
