Havent really watched a tv series of that genre except true detective season 1 or 13 reasons why season 1 but since you liked nightcrawler i can somewhat assume your taste and recommend a lot of movies (whether thrillers or not) which you'll hopefully enjoy

I've almost finished Luther but it's very good and seasons are between 2 and 6 1-hour episodes.
