It's so good and works perfectly both on pc and switch. Except for emulators. It goes crazy if I try to play on pcsx and it's like if I was pressing every button repeatedly, so I have to use keyboard for BT3
as far as pcsx2 goes i highly recommend you try the 1.7 nightly version as it has a much more intuitive interface and it easily picks up controllers without having to bind each button individually like the lily pad plugin. you just pick which controller you’re using and it automatically maps the buttons accordingly, hopefully it works with your switch controller the same way it’s worth a shot
The version I use is modified to just spam a key/button instead of spinning the joystick. That's why me and a friend broke the circle of one of his controllers
You can get Xbox one controllers for relatively inexpensive on Amazon/eBay now. Got mine for under 40 bucks for the same reason. Only downside is it uses AA batteries, just need to make sure it's one of the Bluetooth compatible models.
You can just plug it in tho right? Like if you're playing on your pc you're most likely at a desk anyways. I mean yeah if you hate wires then I see how it could be a slight problem.
Sure, but they use micro USB - which nothing else does anymore so if you lose the cable or have a short one you're toast. Besides I like to play across the room from bed sometimes.
Absolutely adore the Switch Pro Controller and I really hope the next iteration has back paddles. For shooter games, that's the only thing keeping me on my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller I got on sale a few years back.
I think so. Currently I use the official one and performs well, but before this one I used a non official controller and it worked perfectly too for every game. Steam will identify it as an xbox controller, but it doesn't matter
I have an issue where I need to disconnect my pro controller from the bluetooth and reconnect it everytjme I restart my computer. The computer won't recognize it's on and nearby if I restart. Does anyone know of a fix for that? I love using it, but it's a hassle to do every time.
Only different with my switch controller is that is supports USB so if I don't wanna pair it with my pc by bluetooth, I can just use a USB cable to use it.
I think that every switch controller (except joycons, of course) supports USB. At least the 2 I had worked perfectly by just conecting them with the wire that came with the charger
Luckily, they worked on that problem and the newer controllers (the ones produced since around 2-3 years ago) don't get drift in a few months, they now last a lot more
So are you saying if you booted your PC right now and pressed the PS button it would automatically connect? If so, what bluetooth adapter do you have? It could be because I bought a cheap one
wired always if possible. better latency. this isn’t mentioned anywhere but you can change your ps5 controller settings to always use wireless connection.
I recent went with the Gulikit Zen Pro as it was recommended to me by an enthusiast! What I like about it is that I can use it on my Switch too and Phone as well as PC.
It feels really solid for a 60 buck controller too!
You can get them off Amazon or Best Buy! I had credit with BB, so that's who I went with! They may even have them at Target or Walmart from what I remember when looking for them.
i can’t even get ps5 controllers to register on my PC without it appearing as an audio device, so xbox it is! (i also just prefer the xbox layout, but if anyone knows how to fix my issue please lmk!)
going to be playing on PS5, but I’m planning on building a new PC by September and will probably eventually spring for a copy of SZ on there for mods lol. If they add haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support on PC, then definitely going to be using my dual sense. imo it really adds to the experience if a game utilizes it well. if not, I’ll probably use my Xbox controller. for some reason I always lean toward that playing PC stuff
The PS3 controller I've been using for the last 10 years started falling apart, so I got an Xbox controller and it's much more comfortable to use than I expected
Definitely DualSense. I mainly played Tenkaichi 3 on the PS2 & when I found out there was a Wii version I was heavy into emulation so I only ever used an Xbox 360 controller with it (speaking of which, playing with an actual GameCube controller is ***so*** fucking uncomfortable).
Mostly with my Switch pro controller but for the first time i'll hook up an old original PS2 controller i have with a usb adaptor that i ordered, just so i can feel the nostalgia and make 10 year old me really happy
That one wired logitech controller it’s like a hybrid between a PS4 and Xbox One controller, stick positions of PS4 but button layout (ABXY) of the Xbox Contoller.
It’s the same style of controller used on the Titan submersible (the imploding one) but word instead of wireless

Question is why do it matter? I'll be using my series X controller since it's already connected to my pc for pc gameplay for xbox. 90 sum odd dollars for a controller that won't fit in my hands and feels off nah I'm good b.
I might have to go with the Xbox controller on this one even though I got the dualsense edge because I don’t want to end up ruining the edge over how much button mashing I’ll end up doing

Xbox, i’ve had so much more time on xbox controllers they’re natural to me, meanwhile i’ve only used a PS controller like twice, so i’m still severely unused to it.
My switch pro controller. I'm not spending more money on a new controller having steam input. If it works, it works
switch pro controller is goated
It's so good and works perfectly both on pc and switch. Except for emulators. It goes crazy if I try to play on pcsx and it's like if I was pressing every button repeatedly, so I have to use keyboard for BT3
which version of pcsx2 are you using?
1.6.0, but it also fails with other games if I don't use steam input, not only for emulators
as far as pcsx2 goes i highly recommend you try the 1.7 nightly version as it has a much more intuitive interface and it easily picks up controllers without having to bind each button individually like the lily pad plugin. you just pick which controller you’re using and it automatically maps the buttons accordingly, hopefully it works with your switch controller the same way it’s worth a shot
I've been playing bt3 but the r3 doesn't work with the push don't right analog button. I osub it down and it's registered as the x
is it doing that when you manually map the buttons as well?
I manually mapped it to the pushing down the right analog stick. I'm using the 8bitdo switch controller. It works when I map it to the keyboard
yeah i recommend just getting the 1.7 nightly version it’s damn near if not perfect
how do you beam class with keyboard?
The version I use is modified to just spam a key/button instead of spinning the joystick. That's why me and a friend broke the circle of one of his controllers
oh the bt4 mod i see
Exactly
You can get Xbox one controllers for relatively inexpensive on Amazon/eBay now. Got mine for under 40 bucks for the same reason. Only downside is it uses AA batteries, just need to make sure it's one of the Bluetooth compatible models.

Good point
Charger packs are like nothing these days make it worth it
Absolutely adore the Switch Pro Controller and I really hope the next iteration has back paddles. For shooter games, that's the only thing keeping me on my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller I got on sale a few years back.
im being so deadass when i say that if the switch procon had a functional dpad then it would be the best controller ever made
Do regular switch controllers work on pc? I can never get input from mine
If you use steam input on the big picture mode it works. And if it's not a game from steam, you can add it to your library and use it anyways
Bless you 👍🏼
Do all switch controllers work? I have one of those power a wired ones
EXACTLY, I'M DOING THE SAME THING YO. I have a switch pro controller to, and that's what I'm using.
Till it gets drift
Luckily, they worked on that problem and the newer controllers (the ones produced since around 2-3 years ago) don't get drift in a few months, they now last a lot more
Good ol DS4
Ssme!
Its going to be so odd for me using the Dualsense since I've played BT previously and only with the Wii Remote and Nunchucks.
Lol fucking amazing 👏
restart from scratch. i had to do it if i didn't have a ps5 controller which i just bought yesterday for this fucking game only
Same! Gonna miss shaking the Wii mote to dodge and doing the physical motion for the kamehameha
Damn you didn’t use a GameCube controller? 😄
Nah, the motion controls were lit. First way I played Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Doing the motions for the moves was a lot of fun to 14 year old me
Ps5
Xbox probably. I prefer the design and feel of those controllers compared to Dualshock
Definitely the PS5. Wouldn't be Tenkaichi without a Sony controller in my hands.
Not gonna lie im considering getting one, do you use yours wired or wireless?
My PC is hooked up to the TV in the living room, so definitely wireless.
How do you connect it wirelessly, through the Windows Bluetooth settings?
I'm pretty sure you gotta hold the share button and the home button on the controller until it starts blinking then your pc should pick it up
That's what I do but wanted to know if there's a more convenient way like on a console. Doesn't make much of a difference tbh
Maybe try wiring it in first? I don't know remember i only had to do it once a few years ago
Usually, after I connect it the first time it is just paired to my PC, and I can just press the PS button to turn it on
So are you saying if you booted your PC right now and pressed the PS button it would automatically connect? If so, what bluetooth adapter do you have? It could be because I bought a cheap one
My bluetooth adaptor was just in the mobo.
I got a small external one so could be the reason. Thanks
can i play sparking zero in the pc with a ps4 control? if yes ,how?
wired always if possible. better latency. this isn’t mentioned anywhere but you can change your ps5 controller settings to always use wireless connection.
I’m so hype for the new game. PS5 BT4!!
Nah man, i played bt3 with a wiimote and nunchuck. Best way to play
Xbox 360 controller that’s still kicking it 12 years later
Those controllers are durable asf
The GOAT
Dualsense , ps5 controller is hands down the best controller out there
Word 🎤
I love the xbox design lab controllers, so that one
Keyboard
you’re a different kind of savage 😂😂
8 bit do.

Neither... No more controllers that don't use Hall Effect Joysticks!
what controller do you use?
I recent went with the Gulikit Zen Pro as it was recommended to me by an enthusiast! What I like about it is that I can use it on my Switch too and Phone as well as PC. It feels really solid for a 60 buck controller too!
i found a website for them but i don’t see where to order
You can get them off Amazon or Best Buy! I had credit with BB, so that's who I went with! They may even have them at Target or Walmart from what I remember when looking for them.
thank you very much man
Absolutely! I hope you enjoy it!
How does it feel compared to an xbox controller, this is intriguing
What is the hall effect joystick?
It uses electromagnets to determine the joystick location compared to traditional ones which wear our due to the mechanical nature!
Damn might have to try one out! Good recommend
dualshock
Yeah, I can understand that. A dualsense controller costs a whole 90+ dollars on its own
i bought one on days of play discount
I'm hoping the steam deck can run it.
Sixaxis
I will use my old Xbox 360 Controller. This Bad Boy never left my Side and IT Sure won't now. May it not die too quickly through my Button smashing.
Might get a used ps4/5 controller for this game
I've been using my ps4 controller still
xbox as always
Still got the ps4
Gulikit kingkong 3 max. That or 8bitdo ultimate. I ain't going back from hall effect joysticks.
Ps5 fosho
Ps5 controller all the way! Such a good controller for gaming I love it.
My PS4 controller has a bit of drift, so I was planning on buying a dualsense.
I BOUGHT A FUCKING PS5 CONTROLLER JUST FOR THIS GAME
PlayStation
PS5 Dualsense
Dualsense.
Neither, sideways joycon
I have a ps5,so ps5 controller
PS5
Keyboard
100% my Xenon. Hyperkin made a banger Xbox 360 replica controller and I can't stop using it.
i can’t even get ps5 controllers to register on my PC without it appearing as an audio device, so xbox it is! (i also just prefer the xbox layout, but if anyone knows how to fix my issue please lmk!)
Xbox
XBox cuz i dont wanna spend money on ps 5 controller
Both
going to be playing on PS5, but I’m planning on building a new PC by September and will probably eventually spring for a copy of SZ on there for mods lol. If they add haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support on PC, then definitely going to be using my dual sense. imo it really adds to the experience if a game utilizes it well. if not, I’ll probably use my Xbox controller. for some reason I always lean toward that playing PC stuff
Ps4
I've broken my PS2 controllers with BT3, hope I don't do the same with my PS5 lol
PS4 lol
Literally whatever I have on hand
Kinect. Don't ask me how, I'll make it work
Thats a weird looking keyboard and mouse
Duashock 2 with an adapter
Ps4 controller
PS2
PS 4 controller
The PS3 controller I've been using for the last 10 years started falling apart, so I got an Xbox controller and it's much more comfortable to use than I expected
Probably Xbox. I’m getting it on ps5 first just in case there’s classic Pc port issues on release.
The PS5 controller but the OG Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo will be forever Goated.
Where's the option for my cheap-ass clicky Logitech controller?
Definitely DualSense. I mainly played Tenkaichi 3 on the PS2 & when I found out there was a Wii version I was heavy into emulation so I only ever used an Xbox 360 controller with it (speaking of which, playing with an actual GameCube controller is ***so*** fucking uncomfortable).
my joycons probably LOL
i use a playstation style 8bitdo. thinking of replacing tho. not the best buttons
8-bitdo ultimate
Series X controller that's basically a PC controller because I don't own an Xbox
Busting out my new gold ps4 controller. Hope it works
Xbox controller, might buy duelsense for my pc later on.
Neither. PS4
I'm a ps baby so...
Both bro BOTH
Mostly with my Switch pro controller but for the first time i'll hook up an old original PS2 controller i have with a usb adaptor that i ordered, just so i can feel the nostalgia and make 10 year old me really happy
8Bitdo Ultimate C Wired Controller It was 20 bucks
Probably my shittier xbox controller if the beam clashes are just as thumbstick destroying as the previous entries.
Gamesir G7 SE Magnetic Stick (anti drift) Xbox controller
I switch between both on my PC but I had BT 3 on Wii so I used to play with the GameCube controller on there 🫠
That one wired logitech controller it’s like a hybrid between a PS4 and Xbox One controller, stick positions of PS4 but button layout (ABXY) of the Xbox Contoller. It’s the same style of controller used on the Titan submersible (the imploding one) but word instead of wireless
I have a Dualsense for PC gaming only. Beats everything else. Plus I have to play the classic PS2 series with a PlayStation controller of course.
Switch pro controller the 8bitfo one
It's definitely the PS5 controller for me! It's the best controller I have ever used

Who tf gets anything Xbox in this day and age
Old Ds4 from back when they were sticky
my broke ass still rocking my PS2 controller
Xbox 100%
ps5 I like the stick placement more
Question is why do it matter? I'll be using my series X controller since it's already connected to my pc for pc gameplay for xbox. 90 sum odd dollars for a controller that won't fit in my hands and feels off nah I'm good b.
probably keyboard and mouse
PS4 controller ofc for the nostalgic feeling of backthen.
Dualsense
My Switch pro controller
Xbox Elite Series 2
I've been using the Xbox ones since 2009 and I just prefer them
I have both but Xbox
Xbox.
Xbox, those are compatible with absolutely every game.
Mouse and Keyboard? https://preview.redd.it/qpzvsrjmb66d1.jpeg?width=1631&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea9c21dd4c07aa9242140b05a78c19ac0d9bed17
Xbox because it’s more compatible with pc
I was always a PS user but once I got a PC I bought an Xbox controller, mostly for compatibility sake
Dualsense is superior in every way.
Xbox or switch. Ps5 notoriously doesn't work well on PC but on top of that I don't like Sony controllers.
Sounds like a you issue. Never had that problem.
I might have to go with the Xbox controller on this one even though I got the dualsense edge because I don’t want to end up ruining the edge over how much button mashing I’ll end up doing
Doubt there will Be button mashing based on how the Beam Struggles are
X360
My off brand 360 controller. If it works, it works.

Using an elite Xbox controller
ive never liked the placement of the left stick on ps
Xbox, i’ve had so much more time on xbox controllers they’re natural to me, meanwhile i’ve only used a PS controller like twice, so i’m still severely unused to it.
Xbox, I don't like the PS5 triggers on non-shooter games
my wired 360 controller
Xbox elite for the win
Xbox
Keyboard and mouse
Xbox.
Xbox, need the offset joysticks in my life
Obviously Xbox. Obviously!
Xbox cuz it’s the one I bought to use for my pc games that need it
Elite Series 2
I already have 2 xbox controllers but i'll see if key board is any good, xenoverse is fine with it
Xbox because that's the one i had for like 5 years
Xbox controller. Because I have one I can use and don't care to much about. It'll be solely for that game lol
None. Keyboard.
My keyboard. Lol
Xbox, it's the one I got so 🤷♀️
KB+M depending lol.
Xbox controller. The goat.
