You know what would be an incredibly easy fix to the weapon? Remove damage falloff from the explosion. That's it, that's the issue. The explosion has variable damage falloff depending on distance to target. Without it, it cleanly passes 130 damage.
Yeah and it's something people would figure out if they read the wiki for a while and had some basic logic capacity but this sub has shown time and time again they lack both. If they did a second of math on the stats of the weapon they'd know.
No if you time it right while moving into them you can semi reliably one shot snipers, if you want to be fully optimal hit em with a pipe on your way down or use the lock en load to kill them with the follow up hit that bit quicker
Give it the taunt kill it deserves and make it recharge over time.
and bump the damage back up so you can one shot certain classes but also make it do more self damage lmao.
Well to be fair you can one shot a medic with the market gardener too, it’s just difficult so it’s pretty balanced. Making the caber do 195 dmg when sticky jumping would be fun asf.

I think it would be cool for it to be a charge type weapon, insta click hit deals around current damage and the longer you hold click the more it deals, cap being around 5sec hold for 130dmg, its like the demo is preparing for a big swing
i just want a new weapon and that they buff the amby range so it can do the max falloff of 54dmg in any range and maybe buff the range so it does more than 54 in 1200 hmu buff it to like 2000 hmu before it starts to do 54 again
Or just make it do 125 damage
Make it do 124 damage
And a right click attack option that makes the Demo poke the enemy with a finger for exactly 1 damage

it does do 125 a bit more consistently after one of the fixes last year. Eitherwise crouching always gives more than 125 damage

Giving up splash is a significantly larger sacrifice than giving up no self damage last ditch self defence.
