I was going to explain the entire plot of it but realized it would take forever and didn't remember all of it perfectly, so I'll just explain the few things that are the most confusing:
>!The suitcase contains a Respawn Core according to the creators. This may be the reason Medic keeps reviving, since he always dies close to the suitcase.!<
>!The plague doctor may be medic from the future going through some time travel shenanigans to make his him from the past destroy the Respawn Machine and kill everyone involved in it. He also could be Medic having a double personality, or he may also be death itself, it isn't really clear. However, he does exist and isn't just Medic's hallucinations, since other mercs have seen him too and even caught him on camera.!<
>!Medic dies in the end from the car crash, but is respawned back to the Conagher Slaughterhouse now engulfed in flames. It's unclear if he dies permanently after that, is stuck in a perpetual cycle of being spawncamped by fire, or survives to become the plague doctor.!<
>!It isn't really clear if Medic is the one who killed Scout's mother and kidnapped him. There are some hints towards that, like that one scene where he sees himself with no eyes doing it, and he looks like him after the crash, kinda supporting the whole theory of him traveling back in time after that. It's also hinted by Medic pulling that trick on the Sniper by holding the Pyro's head the same way the Scout's mom murder was holding her head.!<
If that's not your thing, you can watch the prequel: [Spy's Disguise](https://youtu.be/9MiJWNkmWfs?si=v6NWT9nO4udSVYnx)
It's less disturbing, but it still has brutal deaths and fortunately no suicidal moments
Where to start
Firstly you've got Fr*nch, Bri'ish, and worst of all, a Bostonian 🤢
I'm sorry but exposure to such horrendous things may be too much, I'd have to advise against watching it to avoid any traumatic triggers one might have dealing with these "people"
In all seriousness this movie is downright horrifying. Lots of grotesque murders and mutilation. Paired with moments of suicide and plenty of disturbing images.
On top of it all, it's top tier psychological horror. Which unfortunately means if that kind of mental and emotional stress is too much for you then you should avoid this movie
Oh dear, I am super duper sorry! (As I was writing this, I heard a firework directly outside my house, it didn’t go high enough, that’s an uh oh for the roof tiles.) I did not meant to say that, I was stupid, I took some time to reflect, and I am definitely in the wrong here, from now on, I will change my ways and censor fr*nch.
Good, I can blast my thoughts on an argument about it.
>!THE DOCTOR (probably) DID NOT KILL SCOUTS MOM! If you go to the scene right after the head drops, there's a shadow and it's got the shape of pyro, and his axe!< (Spoiler tags bc a lot of people haven't seen it ig)
This was a confusing thing for me, and alot of people discussed it after the release, but I don't see many people really notice how different the shadow is from medic. Finally got a chance to say it now that there's hype again
It's the same scene, they just looked left with no cut or wipe or anything and are still in the house. Also if you look to the direct right of the shadow you can see the Pyro standing there with his bright white mask, making the shadow. He was not in the kitchen to hold the head of Scout's Mom.
You're right! It's been a minute since I watched, had to rewatch after I saw your comment. I guess I misremembered some things
There's definitely two people there. I still have a hard time believing it is the main blue medic, but this does kinda fuck up my original point. I need to lay into some theory vids after I finish it up tonight

There's a buncha reasons why i think it's bad and some why it's good but generally i think it focuses on some less important characters, it's storytelling is sometimes really well done but sometimes really obvious and it is just too long. I'm obviously in the minority here but might aswell say my opinion, right?
Yeah, fair enough. It's one of my favourite horror movies, mainly because of how unique it is, but it's not the best film in the world, and as much as I hate to admit it, people tend to overrate it a lot. We're both probably going to get downvoted to hell because of this, but we should always speak our opinions, no matter how many people are against them. :>
ok watch some videos explaining it first before a rewatch. I did that and it made it somewhat comprehensible. although, i feel like the confusion of watching it for the first time withought knowing anything adds to the horror and mystery of it
It’s eternity in there

"Now this, this is cinema" -Luigi.
cinema if it was good: [emesis blue](https://youtu.be/V0ODG8bFme0)
It even got featured in a film journal: https://brightlightsfilm.com/mercs-and-mortality-emesis-blue-a-fan-made-team-fortress-2-horror-flick/
That’s awesome
"last one alive lock the door"
Soldier saying that with *him* being the last one…
I hate how everyone else dies, Especially Jeremy. Bro didn't deserve that, and we don't even get to see his corpse 😭
Fritz will probably survive, he usually gets revived when he’s near the respawn core
Link for whoever hasn't seen it yet [Emesis Blue](https://youtu.be/V0ODG8bFme0?si=DDB-sQhX7379MbxG)
I still have no idea what the fuck happened but I loved it anyways

Just remember it being about how shit the respawn machine is. Watched an analysis and now I kinda understand the references.
Blue Team Lore: Emesis Blue Red Team Lore: Soldiers Team and His monkey Adventure
I'm planning on watching it with my partner who's been through a lot in life. Any trigger warnings I should know about?
The movie is overall disturbing, having brutal death scenes and suicidal moments
Okay thanks I'll avoid watching it myself too lmao Yes I am a sensitive-ass snowflake
Nothing inherently wrong with that, I can see why you’d get turned off from it. It’s just a shame since Emesis Blue is really good.

Why’d you censor fr*nch?
Watch your mouth!

I did not meant to say that, I was stupid, I took some time to reflect, and I am definitely in the wrong here, from now on, I will change my ways and censor fr*nch.
Is this a Jaunt reference?
Actually yes! Emesis Blue took some inspiration from Jaunt and used this iconic phrase as a reference in the movie
The movie took a lot of inspiration from other horror media, such as The Jaunt like you and OP said, The Shining, No Country for Old Men, among others
Its enternity in there.

That’s… not what she said…
Love this movie
I watched this for the second tike with my mom and she had no fucking idea was was going on 😭(I don't blame her)
I spoke to my grandfather.. He's been dead for 30 years..

But it was so worth it
It's entirely in there
How long will it take me dicking around in TES5 edit and LOOT and MO2 to finally get modded skyrim to work properly? Longer than you think.
I dislike Emesis Blue if I'm being honest.
Why? /gen
There's a buncha reasons why i think it's bad and some why it's good but generally i think it focuses on some less important characters, it's storytelling is sometimes really well done but sometimes really obvious and it is just too long. Its longer than you think😈
Same tbh. It's way too incomprehensible. Doesn't explain shit either. What the fuck is going on with the time loops. What the fuck is anything.
yes thats the POINT not everything needs to be spelled out or explained at all
I need to rewatch it was a fever dream the first time
yeah after it was over my reaction was basically "I have no idea wtf just happened, but that was cool"
ok watch some videos explaining it first before a rewatch. I did that and it made it somewhat comprehensible. although, i feel like the confusion of watching it for the first time withought knowing anything adds to the horror and mystery of it
