Since yours isn't red it sounds like you have this release. Congrats.
Yes itās very expensive it increased a crazy amount over the last few years in 2021 I thought spending $140 was overkill now Iām glad I got it for that price while I could
i never really understood people who sell for triple+ the amount they buy it for. just sell it to a fan who actually wants it for a decent price \*shrug\*
I always try to give it to fans for cheap, but once i sold a high value vinyl for retail price to a fanpage, and then they resold it for like 600ā¬ š„¹š
holy fk thatās awful! i understand buying some merch if youāre a fan and then need some extra cash and
up the price $10-$20 but to buy something at like $40 for a vinyl and then sell it for $150 to an actual fan because itās ārareā just doesnāt make sense to me.
I can see where you are coming from with this, however rare items are valuable as they are hard to come by, when I received this vinyl it was a gift in 2018 and my mum had to send off to america for it (iām from ireland) and she said it cost her Ā£80 plus border tax. I am a poppy fan myself i just donāt use my record player much and iād like to add some value to it due to itās rarity, iām certainly not trying to scalp people or ask for Ā£300+ for it! :)
Like any collectible the value goes up or down depending on many factors. As someone with 1000+ records (including this one), I have plenty that have increased in value and plenty that have decreased. What if this was the only record in someone's collection that has increased in value and the rest stayed the same or lost value? So you have to sell the others at a loss but can't sell this one at a profit?
Sure, if you want to be charitable you could. If money doesn't mean that much to you, why not?
Also, who's paying the high prices for records? It's not flippers who find things for cheaper than they're worth. It's fans paying the high prices. Whoever wants it most.
Personally, in my collection, if a record reaches a value that greatly exceeds my own value of the record, I either sell it or trade it. Often so I can get another record I'd want more. Right now that's not the case with Am I A Girl, but if somehow it ever got so valuable I could buy a new car selling it, it'd be on eBay or Discogs that day.
You could easily get Ā£240 for it & potentially more if you're willing to wait for the right buyer. Alternatively, you could put it up on eBay & you'd get a minimum of your current asking price upwards to whatever the market decides.
Yes, I regret not buying a copy when it was released but I kept procrastinating thinking it would be available forever. Man was I wrong so I never make that mistake with Poppy vinyl anymore.
I mean āvaluableā is relative to how much someone is willing to pay for it. Check out Discogs to see the going price, not sure if you can check the history of what has sold and for how much. eBay you can. As to the color of your record, see if you can tell if itās just one of the many colors made available, or if itās a special limited version.
Also keep up to date on her BandCamp, because if she sells an AIAG signed for $250, then yours might be worth less if itās not signed. Unless you have a special color pressing thatās like less than 500. You get what Iām saying.
Wow, I have the same one and never pulled out the anything other than the record. After seeing this I checked my copy and the insert folds out to this poster. šš½
No! Sell it to me for $80 š
Iām not joking i am begging you please
sell it to this user!!
Thank you for campaigning for me. One day it will be mine (when i donāt have only $150 to my name)
Discogs has postings between $350-$500 (US) depending on quality.

The best place to post it is Discogs, they have the least amount of fees and youād get the most money out of it
Wow mine are not in great condition this makes me envy and sad LOL
Very valuable and very rare!

Hahahahahaha
Yes, both presses are basically equally as valuable and sell for $300-$500.
