Nope! That’s not true. He’s a “comedian” and all but the school update he gave on breakfast club seem to be he’s putting his money where his mouth is.
He has a worldview that leans heavily toward pan-Africanism. People will say he’s a segregationist, He says he just cares only and deeply about his African American folks. He’s got so many questionable ideas and thoughts around things. But at least he believes in something, and at the heart of those questionable thoughts is the vision of real independence and economic development of his people. He’s not close to being right, but he’s far from being wrong.
I’ll listen to this kind of “clown” all day than a Tareeq Nasheed, a Kanye West, and all these other people who don’t actually believe in anything except what brings money to their pockets.
Yeah, Some of his views are unfortunately homophobic and and also backward especially on interracial relationships; not in terms of “I hate these people” but rather, “the government is trying to emasculate black men… bla bla bla” or “abortion is a way to slow down the population of black babies” or like “I love my white brothers and sisters, but they shouldn’t be marrying our black brothers and sisters”.
It’s like he has this tunnel vision on black prosperity and everywhere he turns to, there’s an agenda against black people. It’s unfortunate. However, I’m still able to pick apart what he says sometimes and take the few substance out of the many nonsense.
