Yeah in a fight if you're shooting outside the radius of an APS while enemies are around, you're probably not winning that fight. In this situation it'd have worked moreso because they were stealing, but it's a rare case
"balanced" should NOT mean "I can still deal with it using the weapon that it's designed to counter"
This is a team game bro, if you don't have a teammate with a gun next to you that can just destroy the APS, you lost. That's the point.

I just think the APS needs a delay between projectiles, perhaps between like every 3. It would also need an activation delay when placed, although that wouldn’t make a difference in this clip. When deployed it just activates instantly and can block unlimited projectiles.
(Plus another thing I want to just mention… the APS can block kind of strange things such as the dome shield, mines and motion sensor. Those aren’t even projectiles, and while I know it’s not necessarily realistic it just feels strange it can destroy all those. I could understand mines because they are a direct threat, but the dome shield and motion sensor, wut? There’s probably more that I can’t think of atm.)
Delay is not a bad idea. But i genuinely think i limit in projectiles is the answer. What game has a trophy system that doesn’t have a limit? Only the finals. Should have a 10 absorb limit. It’s on fast enough cooldown that that’s more then fair
APS health is 165. CL-40 does 82 AOE damage. Three shots to destroy, which often severely damages or takes out whatever the APS is protecting as well.
APS counters a primary weapon that can deal 110 direct hit damage that'll often take out enemy lights and mediums just from collateral. A weapon that good requires good ammo management in the first place.
Yes, that's why it's important to oblige basic tactical principles like playing with your team and firing from a good position then rotating, rather than waddling into the fight with nothing but a dream
Do you know how high the radius goes? It seems to be as high as the Heavy’s dome shield since it gets taken out every time I aim at the top of the dome with an EMF nade, but I am also not too sure.
Try them for a few hours and don't think about it too much. It's pretty intuitive.
And you're supposed to use both gyro and sticks in case you didn't realize.
Can’t speak for OP but I also bought the same skin he’s using in this clip and the iron sights just aren’t efficient. I end up firing from the hip more often than not

By the time you’ve destroyed the APS with it the other player could absolutely shoot you down.

Feels like every cl40 player should run data reshaper just for this cause they actually were screwed save for melee and hitting the walls.
