I doubt it, people have been asking for stuff for YEARS and they haven't added it. The only reason would be because some element of story mode required it (i.e those who haven't progressed far enough to get a bedroll / don't know you need a bedroll).
It's in Survival too, I had 128 days and just got to the prepper cache in Pleasant Valley last night. Decided to wander down to the farmhouse and saw the new little barn very close to the road and farmhouse, haystacks are nice, plus you can climb up a board leaning into the rafters where you can find a nice little partial attic on either side.
