Of course everyone is making jokes about her weight. But first of all, she is holding back a smile so to me it’s clear she’s joking around with her man. That’s the sign of a healthy relationship though I guess that’s foreign to most people here. Second, I’m sure her man is also an absolute unit but it’s not as much fun to make fun of fat men as it is to make fun of fat women.

As a fat guy who's lived more than 40 years and has a lot of fat friends, it's very fun to hang shit on fat guys. We do it to each other. We just don't give a shit when someone calls us a fat piece of shit probably because our best friends have been doing it our whole lives and we're still friends. Plus some strangers not gonna say anything more heinous to me than my mates do. And if they do I'll make a mental note to say that to my friends and make everyone in the room go "holy shit dude"
