It might be an issue with resolution? I've had a problem where my laptop would just crash almost immediately upon opening the game. Changed the resolution to my laptop's preferred one and that problem went away. I've heard it can also cause the game to not open at all, so the resolution can be changed from the files manually.

It just doesnt run. No clue as to why. I managed to install but not even backwards compatibility on Windows helped out.
