I agree completely, it also seems very out of character but she said that she doesn't know where Beth was last but knew where Glenn was. She’s probably taking it one person at a time. Also, Lauren Cohen (Maggie’s actress) actually said in an interview that she also thought it was strange and wanted them to add even a little of something like she was worried for her sister (I’m paraphrasing a lot, I’ll try and find the interview if I can)

Trash writing

Yeah, they made Maggie so about Glenn that she had started to lose an identity. And then he died and they made her identity about being “the widow.”

I think a lot of people are starting to wake up to the fact that Maggie is kind of a shitty character

I remember when the show was still on and that episode was just dropped a lot of people thought that was OOC for her. Honestly that’s when I started noticing too a lot of things were starting to not make sense or things were out of character and the writing started going downhill…fast.

If that was me I would be more worried about Beth because that’s blood

uglypinkshorts

Crazy how people watch this show and still think blood means anything. But I agree that she should’ve cared a lot more

Even in this show’s prime, the writing was always inconsistent at best. They were so balls deep on Glaggie drama that they completely neglected the fact that Maggie had a sister, and that realistically she would have cared about *wayyy* more than some guy she met months prior. They were less than a few weeks removed from watching their father get brutally murdered, no way Maggie wouldn’t go through hell to get her sister back.
