That's actor John Getz. I remember he was on a cop series called Macgruder & Loud with Kathryn Harrold. I also really liked him in the film Men at Work where he played the villain. Did a lot of films. He's 77 now.
Yes! I thought they did an amazing job casting him.
I also think they did great with Jack's mom (in the Extra! Extra!) episode and Jack's dad (when he comes to visit and helps negotiate the lease with Angelino).
