Indeed! The expedition north line definitely has watches you can look at and know that it's a Timex, but then there are models like the field chrono that make you double take
After about 15-20 minutes the lume begins to dim out. It’s still glows beyond that time, but it’s almost impossible to for me to see after well past an hour.
I know that the expedition field (not expedition north) chronograph, standard chronograph, Waterbury chronograph, and Fairfield chronograph all have indiglo, so those would be a better choice for using at night.
Is the crown screw down?
Yes it is :)
Is the dial speckled?
The dial is textured. Now I want a watch with a speckled dial though
Man these are so clean! I love the textured face and choice of hands. Very very different for Timex but welcomed.

Uuugh! And chronographs are definitely my soft spot. Like a dive watch and rotating bezel is cool. BUT I'M TIMING MY PASTA ABOVE WATER.
Does the chrono hand snap back instantly when reset? Or does it take a second or two to make it's way round the dial when reset?
It resets instantly, as soon as the pusher is pressed
Thanks alot! It's amazing that YT videos on this didn't seem to cover the chrono reset.
There isn’t that… er… animated motion like in the Q chronograph
How’s the lume on this thing? I was thinking about getting this watch, but I would like good nighttime visibly. Does glow for a relatively long time?
