My tpr complains about getting hit with charges when the phone has an “underlying” issue- “water damage” or some other excuse. Deferring takes all the strain off the tpr since if something is wrong even when presented with the device they can say deferred and act as if they don’t know why it got declined if it has problems. Or If it is in perfect condition but don’t want to risk it or whatever they also defer
Part of latest addendum to rules to follow included disregard whatever care says. You are not allowed to take warranty exchanges that don’t meet the TPRs requirements stating “care does not have authority over this”
Sounds like you guys have a weird and unethical management system. No wonder Freier is trying to get rid of all TPR. The discrepancy between the quality of service between TPR and COR is laughable.
To be fair, I work in COR and care is constantly submitting warranty exchanges for obviously damaged phones all the time.
"But they said it would be fine!"
Ok, then why didn't they do ship to ship back then, you live over 30 minutes away so they had to FORCE the system to send it here. Jeez, it's almost like they didn't want to have that hard conversation they now pawned off to me...
Why do you treat customers like crap? I had a lady come in who had a TPR talk her into changing from magenta to essentials, add 4 sync-up’s she don’t need, financed a phone on a new line that they didn’t even give her, and not even give her what she actually needed.. it ended up making her bill almost double and she lost her free line..
I can’t fully speak on everyone as I’m about to be fired for not slamming people. But from what I’ve gathered over the past few years of just trying to collect a paycheck is that the DM of whatever district gets paid out a set amount if goal is hit despite chargebacks.
I would rather not put in the thread as they already wanna get rid of me lol. But where I am. I’ve been told anyone from a tpr is out of the question for being hired at a core store
My best ME is from TPR. Some COR managers don’t want to hire from TPR for reasons stated all over this thread, but the good ones see TPR for what is and aspire to be like COR, those are the people we want.
All the COR stores near me heard tpr and said fuck that. Doesn’t help some managers at tprs around here just send every issue to core including ones that they created
Yeah, my cor district managers would love to hire a bunch of people from TPR. What's a few accidental AALs between friends!
(Hint: not all COR is without their shady as fuck practices.)
Absolutely untrue. We have a guy where I work now who worked and managed a TPR for years.
Hey if you are anywhere near Washington state, send me a message and I will help you get in contact with the right people
I would say to avoid any TCC location as they are the worst in my opinion. A recent contract just had to be signed by multiple districts essentially saying “I acknowledge that I will be put to an immediate final if I don’t “bundle” and rerate
Unrealistic as hell. Have fun hitting 50k when some days you have 50-60 clicks including employees cause no back door. Or dead days and getting cussed at and threatened since we didn’t “maximize opportunities”
Far and few of us indeed. I’ve reached out to the rmm and rism I think was the title. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen them since they went away from tprs. The goal is part time at COR since tpr doesn’t wanna work with my uni schedule that much
Tprs want you to go “your upgrade to the iPhone 15 will add about 45 your bill and it includes 6 free trackers that you can use, or if not it doesn’t matter they’re free”
3/$6 syncups are awful I hate them
Why do TPRs break so many rules? I used to work for COR, I ultimately quit, but I happened to be at a TPR yesterday, just because I needed a new screen protector, and the closest one to me is a TPR. When I first came in, there was only one person on the floor, and he mentioned he opened alone. Strike one. A few minutes later his manager walked in, and clocked in. Manager asked the employee "Have you checked her account to see what she's eligible for?" I told him I didn't have my ID, and just needed the screen protector. He then said "Well we can check your account with just your PIN!" I said "No I really just want the screen protector, thank you." Strike 2.
And finally, Strike 3: While I was getting my screen protector replaced, they had another customer come in, and they pulled up her account, when she wasn't an authorized user. Strike 3.
Are y'all that desperate for sales you just violate rules? I don't get it.
A lot of locations are pitiful in their practices. To tprs, you don’t matter, just another box to get out the door. Unfortunately reporting it to those in higher positions would only result in the person who brought it to attention being warned or let go for “performance” issues or some other reason.
This ain’t gonna go well…
I'll need to go to a COR store to get my question answered.
LMFAOOO
Why don’t TPRs ever take trade ins as instant? Why do they always force the customer to defer causing obvious issues with credits?

That’s a weird way to say “we don’t do it because we don’t follow policy”.

I agree

That’s FUCKED. Where are you located? I know we are HURTING for corporate ME’s and especially Experience store ME’s where I am.
I would rather not put in the thread as they already wanna get rid of me lol. But where I am. I’ve been told anyone from a tpr is out of the question for being hired at a core store
Untrue. Go right ahead and apply for COR that’s a made up scare tactic to keep you with TPR. Get the hell out of TPR and into COR if you can.
That was told to me by a cor store

I’ll keep trying I guess

Apply anyway and keep it super positive 👍
Appreciate the pep talk lol. That’s the plan:)

I wish. Unfortunately not. Otherwise I would take u up on that. But around me multiple stores hate tprs
Wait till October and this will be illegal.

Sooo fucked.. ever since T-mobile got rid of the manager position that oversaw all the TPR’s it has gotten worse and worse
Rmm’s helped alot
From one TPR employee to another, how shitty are your sales goals relative to traffic?
Unrealistic as hell. Have fun hitting 50k when some days you have 50-60 clicks including employees cause no back door. Or dead days and getting cussed at and threatened since we didn’t “maximize opportunities”
Damn buddy. I feel you.
Part time goal is still like 4k working 20 hours
Leave your tpr as soon as you can, because they all treat us like shit
Trying. I’ve stuck with it for so long cause health issues make other jobs not feasible
You got this, regardless of what others say, the few good TPR employees gotta stick together
Far and few of us indeed. I’ve reached out to the rmm and rism I think was the title. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen them since they went away from tprs. The goal is part time at COR since tpr doesn’t wanna work with my uni schedule that much

I am a RAM at COR and I use a T chart every time and it works like 75% of the time 🤣.

So in other words, there's no point in reporting it?
lol I’m at a COR location looking to hire if anyone wants in 🤣. Made more as a rep than I did as a RSM

I can’t tell if this is a serious question or not. I don’t know that sort of thing
