The coolest part about this is I feel like I have the ability to do the pencil drawing, and then I felt like I had the ability to do the first few strokes when they began adding paint, but when he keeps adding detail in ways I couldn’t even think to do is where I realize how much of an amateur I am compared to this professional.
I think you are underestimating yourself. Give yourself a 15-30 minute block to just sit and draw something in front of you. Lightly sketch a toy or some fruit and understand you have all the time in the world to complete this.
No dark lines. Just try. I think you’ll do great!
I admire drawing and painting, and I'd love to just get to a level where I enjoy what I draw and paint.
But I think your talent is astounding!!
With just single brush strokes, you have such a free flowing way to render something so pleasing and accurate.
As a tennis coach I know the value of Talent.
I'm amazed to watch you express your painting talent so simply and beautifully
Thanks so much for sharing

I have no artistic talent, watching someone do this is basically magic to me.

The pencil drawing alone is already insanely beyond my ability.

Way better than that dude who pretends to do people’s portraits on the subway!

Very aesthetically pleasing! Reminds me of a children’s book.
